Was in town with no car so walked a mile to it in a storm. Ordered fish box which came with fries, 3 hush puppies and 4 pieces of whiting. Also got an order of steamed jumbo shrimp (9!) . With tip it was less than $20. And the food was great. The place is basic, chairs but no tables so I pulled a chair over to make a table. It was a feast and I have two fillets left for breakfast!

Tasty food. Good place. Great value. One can come here and get a fair lunch for $5. The cheapest in Blackstone with a food quality that is higher than fast food and more quantity as well. Probably the nicest place to grab takeout in the town.
They don’t have a fountain but do have a large selection from cooler. Drinks are fairly priced too.

Really old building, everything in my box was fried hard which would have been ok but the wings I wanted was not available. The fries and his puppies I gave away got 3 pieces of ‘perch’ honestly couldn’t tell,fries and 3 jumbo shrimp was supposed to be 4 and some dry his puppy balls. No slaw,tartar sauce was in a packet the meal was a little under $8 and can soda was another $1.30 however the young Asian/Oriental guy who took my order and fixed the food was very nice

I was in the area and was looking for a good spot to eat. Found this place online, I was excited because I love seafood. First off, I waited about 6 to 7 minutes before she could get to me. She’s a one woman show. She was the cashier and the cook. Extremely slow service. When she was finally able to take my order, she was flustered and curt with me. I left and never to return.

Been coming here for years. Food is always fresh, made to order. The owner, a woman runs the store by herself. Be patient with her. My favorite thing to order is the fried oyster box. Crispy, fresh.

Food is awesome and so is the people!!! My son 3 year old son has asthma and we broke down and ended up walking in the heat when I walked in and asked if we could sit and wait for our ride not only did they help but they also pulled out a fan and pops for my son. I didn’t buy anything that day but the love they showed was amazing.

When ever I go to this here I’m greeted with a warm smile. I love fish and I always get a fish sandwich which don’t last more than 5 minutes! I’ve eaten it while waiting on my daughter to get her order! It’s that good!!
