Definitely worth the visit!.
This is my 2nd time here for the regular lunches buffet menu which is priced at a value pact $35 bucks per head.
Again great service, fresh food and fast too!
My favorite was the thin sliced beef that pretty much melts in mouth so long as you don’t over cook it!
Let the pics do the talking!
Definitely Top AYCE for Japanese BBQ with nice blend of Korean dishes!
We were especially thankful that the host was able to squeeze in our small group with kids so we could take advantage of the lunch menu because we’re not big eaters and don’t eat much steak. We love sampling different dishes, and this place is perfect for that since you can order even just one piece of an item. Our favourites were the miso soup, kimchi, deep fried rice cake, creamy tomato basil soup, bibimbap, chicken thigh, miso pork belly, miso beef brisket, chicken wings, sausage, and shrimp. Everything we tried was delicious. I liked the charcoal taste in our food. Food came out quickly, and empty dishes were cleared promptly.
While many people mention the great service, our server was just okay. Maybe he’s a new hire for the holiday season. He wasn’t very helpful in explaining when the food was cooked (we eventually figured out), but he was easy to find whenever we wanted to order more food. He seemed surprised when we left a generous tip. We were just really thankful we got to enjoy the lunch menu.
Overall, thank you for making the dining experience a great one for our family!
AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I’ve been to Gyubee many times, but this visit was on a whole different level because of the outstanding service. EVAN was hands down the BEST server I’ve ever had! Super attentive, friendly, and easy to talk to—he made sure we got everything we wanted and gave the BEST food recommendations. He genuinely cared about making our experience enjoyable, and it really showed.
Huge shoutout as well to the manager, Alex Wang, who warmly welcomed us and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. The level of service from both Evan and Alex truly reflects how much Gyubee values its customers.
Incredible food, top-tier service, and an overall unforgettable dining experience. Highly, highly recommended—can’t wait to come back again!
Recs: try the rib eye, chicken wings, lamb, clams (mix it with the sauce from the mushrooms)
would definitely come back for special occasions!!
When we dined in on New Years Day, it felt like we were either being rushed or neglected with very little to no in between throughout our dining experience. We received a text indicating that our table is ready and that we need to check in with the host within 5 minutes to secure the table, only for us to arrive and wait at the crowded front entrance for another 10-15 minutes.
Apart from having to flag different people down for water refills or clear plates off (our grill started catching on fire at one point, and one server just came by and took the entire plate with our meat on it away instead of transferring to a new plate ), the food we ordered just stopped arriving towards the end (we were really craving that last Bibimbap before we finish/ I think this is their way of controlling food waste towards the end of dining period, but… ) before abruptly being asked if the bill was separate/ together and if we’re ready for ice cream ↕️
Our first experience with the restaurant was truly a top notch experience, from the quality of food (get the miso marinated pork & beef, please!!), to the speed and friendliness of the service, so hopefully this was just us catching it on a busy/ off day! Would want to visit again though, perhaps just not during peak times and/or days.
