Passing through on the way home we had to make a last minute stop in black mountain. I ran in town pump tavern to pass some time why my husband attended a work meeting. My bartender Ariana was absolutely amazing!! The environment is very welcoming and the people talk to you like you have known them forever. We will definitely be back!!

Great stop with a friendly crowd, amazing staff, and free darts! Just be aware, it’s cash only but an ATM is on site. I hear they often have live music, but I missed out on that part.

The atmosphere was great: not too full not too empty. A surf band was ripping it at a comfortable volume and the back porch was chill. The only gripe was the beer tasted pretty off. Maybe just been a bad pour.
