We dined in today and we ordered an extra-large pepperoni pizza. We were given an extra-large cheese pizza instead. They insisted that we ordered a cheese pizza, and we insisted that we hadn’t. They said they’ll make us a pepperoni pizza (what we ordered) and we said, at this point, we’ll just take it to go instead of dining in. I could tell they were unhappy. After about 10 minutes they gave us a pizza in a box taped shut on three sides. When we opened it we saw they just threw pepperoni on the original/old pizza and heated it up for a couple minutes. It looked and tasted awful. They acted like they did us a big favor by saying they won’t charge us for the pepperoni they just threw on there. We will not be going back.

Talk about nostalgia and getting hit hard in the feels when I was able to take my son to eat pizza where I grew up eating pizza. The food is as good as I remember. The service was great. The vibe was awesome. I highly recommend and will be back to enjoy when I am next in town. Glad to see this place is still here and thriving. Go check them out.

Our favorite pizza place. It’s always amazing. Not a very hard crust pizza if that’s what you’re looking for. Toasted but tender crust on the bottom. Very cheesy. Salads are pretty good. House dressing is amazing.

Ordered three large pies and some apps. The food was good, but not your average pizza. The pies were cut into a grid which is a bit strange but, not a big deal. Flavor was good, however the pies were thicker than your average slice, and comparable to a Costco pizza slice, which is not a bad thing I guess. Our cheese pie was baked a little too long which burnt the cheese and lost it’s cheesiness/texture, so that was unfortunate. The food will definitely fill you up if you have a big group, however it just wasn’t my cup of tea.

Good, quick service. Cheese pizza was very tasty, but the chicken and broccoli, not so much. The chicken was super dried out (looked like crispy French fries on the pizza) and the broccoli wasn’t tender enough.

I’ve been eating their pizza since I was a kid. I don’t know what it is about their pies, but it has a specialness to it that I have not found anywhere else. This is the gem of New Britain pizza restaurants and a must have if you are in the area!
Maybe it is the quality cheese that lends to the pizza being not greasy, that is stretchy and melty. Maybe it’s the pepperoni that crisps up perfectly while it cooks and has a perfect spicy kick to it. Maybe it’s the crunchy crust that crackles as you bite into it yet maintains a chewy texture that is so flavorful. And yes, the slices are squares, and it just makes sense lol. Whatever it is, it has not changed in the 30+ years I’ve been coming here!

If you’re looking for a great place to eat, this is the place. It may be small, but the food is mighty delicious. Prices are fair and portions are substantial. I’ve been eating here for many years and will continue to do so.

Always good pizza. Very consistent. I have ordered for years and to me, it tastes like the same person every time. I know to some, the crust is thick but it is similar to other CT pizza I have had. I like the crispness of the crust and the spices in their pizza sauce. The photo is onion and green pepper pizza. This was a small.
