We have an awesome patio in back for outdoor dining with tv/music/fun atmosphere. Inside dining also available with 2 TVs inside, walk up window for those who do not want to come inside(pets welcome and pup cups also available) curbside pickup for those wanting to stay in their car. All orders made fresh no heat lamps. Call in your order ahead of time for pick ups; also door dash delivery.

Outstanding !! Pita for the sandwich was exceptional!Very flavorful was the meat for the Gyro and Shawarma. They were so filling we had to go into town and walk around so we could come back for the awesome custard afterwards. sorry we didn’t take better pictures. I normally do not post things. But we will definitely plan on going back there when we visit that area again. And both sandwiches were that good?

You come here because you’re tired of Culver’s mid-tier custard. If you deeply appreciate the creamy taste of frozen custard over ice cream, skip the “true blue” and head to Toucan’s. While there order yourself something a little less mainstream with their Greek inspired items. You’ll love the taste of anything you get! On your way out though, feel free to thank the owners who are there every shift, Jackie and Sulley. They love everyone of their customers and employees alike! Toucans is one of those places I am really happy to have nearby. The service has always been great, and you can tell the food is made to order, which makes a big difference. I also like that the menu goes beyond the usual burger and fries. You can get the standard favorites, but they also have gyros and shawarma, which keeps things interesting. Solid local spot.

Wow! We wanted custard after walking around Port Washington and google suggested Toucan.
I had an Almond Joy custard. Slivers of coconut, flakes of chocolate, roughly chopped almonds and vanilla custard. It was amazing! Will definitely stop by next time we are passing through.

We enjoy having Tucan as one of the local places to get take out food. Generally, on nights we don’t want to cook, we usually prefer to get take out and eat at home while watching a movie, or binge-watch one of our favorite tv shows; and Tucan fits the bill for us. We can order online and pickup when it is ready. Sometimes there is a little wait for the food, and the prices are a tad higher than comparable restaurants (i.e. Culver’s just down the road, which we also go to); but we don’t mind because the quality has always been very good, and they have options not available closeby. I would recommend this as a place to check out if you are looking for a good selection to choose from in a small town setting. The basics are definitely covered with the hot dog, hamburger, chicken, and ice cream selections; and all the speciality items add extra flavor for anyone looking for something a little different.

We were really surprised by Toucan Custard! We enjoyed a vanilla Oreo hot fudge concrete mixer, and a banana split. While we probably would take the pineapple out of the banana split, the custard in both was fantastic. We went in the middle of the day on a Saturday and it was pretty empty. The workers were helpful and kind, the selection is crazy, and the food was great. Why not stop by Toucan??

This place was good and it had a variety of food which was great. I do feel like the prices were a bit of a sticker shock but it is Port Washington. I did deduct a star because there was a very rowdy teenagers that were very loud and very obnoxious, and the staff did nothing.

I didn’t try any of the other food, but I had a scoop of chocolate custard. I’m a huge Leon’s fan, and I have to say it was pretty spot on! My husband enjoyed their flavor of the day, Chocolate Thunder (which had pie crust bits and chocolate flakes) in a waffle cone. The service was fast and friendly, and I look forward to coming back to try a full meal!
Edit: Came back for dinner. The food was alright, just a little under seasoned. I think I’ll just stick with the custard. The cookie dough concrete mixer was SO good!!!!

Great service, great food, and great atmosphere meaning that this establishment has a nice outside eating area and a beautiful dine-in area. Many great food choices on the menu. Purchased a few items and I’m sure everything tastes fantastic. Highly recommended restaurant. My fiance and I will be back!!!
