Had lunch at Toucan Charlie’s today and it was a wonderful experience. The quality of the food is good and the variety is huge – there is something for everybody. From hot dishes to salads and international cuisine, everything is fresh and well-maintained.
The desserts section is also good – a huge variety and everything tastes good. This is the perfect way to end your meal.
Add to this the friendly and attentive staff, and you are in for a wonderful time.
This place is definitely worth visiting if you are in Reno and enjoy a good buffet.

Fantastic food, truly! The prime rib was tender and a perfect medium‑rare, the clam chowder was thick and delicious, and the gelato bar was creamy and genuinely yummy. There are so many options here, and everything we tried was excellent. The servers were friendly and helpful, and the whole experience felt well‑run.
The only reason this isn’t a five‑star review is the military discount policy. Their advertising prominently states “10% off always for active duty military and veterans,” but the fine print requires signing up for a rewards membership. Since we were only in town for a day, that wasn’t worth it, so we didn’t receive the discount. Not a deal‑breaker, just an avoidable annoyance that took a bit of shine off an otherwise excellent meal.

The most excellent buffet I’ve been to in a while, and I’ve been to a lot of buffets in Vegas, all the station casinos circus circus, Caesars. The service was great, our server Delfina was awesome, very attentive, and extremely polite. It was so busy there but she handled all her customers like a soldier.

I can’t say enough good things about this wonderful buffet.
The food is perfectly prepared and fresh, attended to regularly and kept at safe temps. There’s a nice variety of options (though compared to come buffets, is lacking slightly in the Asian department). The roasted/sliced meats bar is AMAZING and the turkey is the best I’ve ever tasted in my long life (and available not just on holidays). There are many unique buffet items I’ve never seen elsewhere. It’s a great spread!
Now, as for service, it’s exemplary. They work as a team and clear plates and refill drinks promptly. We went without reservations for a birthday celebration and they easily seated our large party and our primary table attendant even prepared a lovely birthday plate of desserts and searched in 3 other onsite restaurants for a candle. What a guy!

Every time we come to Reno, we always make it a point to eat here because it is the best buffet. Everything is fresh and they have so many different options to choose from. Friday is snow, crab, and fresh oysters.

The buffet is spacious and beautifully decorated, but the food is mediocre. Dinner is $42.99 per person on weekdays with crab legs available only on weekends. The menu showcases food from all around the world. The pho station was a pleasant surprise. As a Vietnamese person, I found the pho to be pleasant. I appreciate the wide range of options, but everything tastes like typical buffet food—just okay. Your money is better spent elsewhere. They have an automatic gratuity fee for parties of 6 or more. Staff are quick to take away finished plates and refill drinks. Tables are nicely spaced out.

We heard how good their seafood buffet was so we couldn’t resist. It was definitely the best crab legs in Reno. I enjoyed lots of crab, shrimp, blackened salmon, and more crab legs. It was well worth the price ($117 for two before tax).

I went with a friend during their seafood buffet, and it was the perfect setting for some much-needed girl time. The seafood dishes were absolutely delicious, and there was a great variety of desserts and other foods to choose from. The restaurant was packed that day, but everything was well organized—we didn’t have to wait long at all. The place was clean, and the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. Overall, a lovely experience. I’d definitely come back again!
