Customer service here is poor on my visit. Staff was hard to find, seem uninterested in helping, and don’t provide useful guidance when asked questions. It feels like I was more of an inconvenience than a priority. The overall experience was frustrating enough that I wouldn’t want to come back.

Rude customer service and profiling me, insinuating i would steal and underage. i presented my id upon checkout and they told me since my little sister was with me i couldn’t checkout! saying it was apart of the their policy which is not made known anywhere in the store! Couldn’t even purchase what i needed!! just disappointing.

They’re a fine store, but being in VA makes them not as worth it as in other states that don’t have draconian liquor laws. Basically, don’t expect to find liqour as part of the more.

Total wine always has a great beer selection friendly staff. Got some excellent grower fills today from the Aslin Brewing Black Friday event. There wasnt even a line. I got growlers filled with every variety! Also snagged the last BCS Orange special release.

I like this store, but there is one big problem that is not about the store, but the online pick up system in Total Wine. I ordered two bottles of red wine that worth around $250 each a week ago. It asks me to select the pickup date, and I selected today. However, I received the email that the order was ready to pickup right next day from when I ordered. When I went to the store to pick them up today, I saw the staff found it in the online pickup shelves. That was the $250 for a bottle that was stored in a chilled wine cellar before I placed order. That’s where the expensive red wine supposed to be. When I received the email that the order were ready to pickup which was a week ago, it means they took them out from the wine cellar and placed them to the online pickup shelves where right behind the cashiers. For a week. I should drive for two hours right after pick them up so couldn’t complain about it, but here is the thing. Why the online pickup gives me an option to select pickup dates if they will just push the bottles to the selves right after the order was placed?

Not only did they call me “Sir” even though I am a woman, they carded me even tho I haven’t been carded in years and am clearly old enough, and on top of that the cashier sarcastically said “Enjoy your drink!” as I left. Never coming here again and will never recommend them to anyone. Rude and not worth it.
