We recently tried this restaurant, and overall it was a good experience. The interior décor is absolutely gorgeous; warm, colorful, and thoughtfully designed, making it one of the highlights of the visit. The atmosphere itself was fine, though our first impression was a bit awkward; when we walked in, the staff looked at us for a moment before finally welcoming us, which felt slightly uncomfortable.
That said, the food more than made up for it. Everything we ordered was incredibly delicious and full of flavor, clearly made with care. The drinks, however, didn’t quite match the quality of the food and were a bit underwhelming.
Even with those small drawbacks, it’s a place we’d probably come back to, especially for the food and the beautiful setting.

By far the best breakfast I have had in a long long time. Fresh fresh fresh!! Cook is excellent! Waitstaff super friendly and happy. Can’t wait to try dinner!! I highly recommend if you want real food!!

Tostones cafe is relatively new here in old Orchard Beach. This particular establishment is located in the Landry’s grocery store plaza..
There is plenty of parking in the inside is very clean. They offer bothboth breakfast and lunch. As of right now their hours are 6 AM to 3 PM Monday through Sunday. The service is great. They have a very friendly weight staff. They have a great selection in their menu and if you get their breakfast, I highly suggest their French toast. It is perfect! As an old Orchard Beach local it’s nice to have a restaurant like this open all season long. If you stop by.. Tell them Stew sent ya!

Don’t sleep on this place. The food was excellent, fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is really nice, comfortable and clean. Service was great, very friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to go back and try more menu items. At first I thought it was overpriced but when I tried the first bite, I quickly realized it was worth it, high quality, fresh and flavorful. Great addition to the area, I wish I got there sooner.

I visited Tostones in Old Orchard and was truly impressed. I ordered the French toast with juice and coffee, and everything was absolutely delicious! The food quality is excellent, with an authentic touch of Colombian and Latin cuisine. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, blending the best of Latin and American culture, making it a perfect spot to enjoy with family or friends. There’s no shortcomings with this restaurant. Genuine service from the moment we walked in, we were happily greeted by staff. The coffee and food came very fast, but the presentation doesnt reflect that (just look at the pictures). The food tasted as good as it looked. I would absolutely come back; and highly recommend trying this true authentic, Columbian restaurant

Ordered from Doordash, and OMGOSH amazing. Had a black bean and rice burrito that was as big as my head! it came with chips and THE best salsa I’ve ever had. I’m blessed that I can veganize items, but they do have some items that are marked “vegan” so that pleased me. My friend is not vegan and he said the carne was the best he’s EVER had. I can’t describe how amazing and unique that salsa is. Truly delectable. I will try to go there and see if we can buy some.

My favorite spot for breakfast! Every dish is full of flavor, and you can truly feel the love in the food. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming — I always leave looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended!
