We took our son here for an early birthday dinner on 11/22 at 4:30 pm. This was my husband’s and my second visit, but our kids’ first. Unfortunately, this experience was nothing like our first time.
Upon walking in, it appeared that several employees were celebrating a birthday behind the bar. The host seated us, but while doing so he accidentally knocked over the drink I had brought with me. It spilled all over my seat, purse, and the floor. He apologized and said he would clean it up and pick up the cup, but he only wiped the seat and table—my purse was ignored, and the cup stayed on the floor next to my husband for the rest of the meal. My drink was wasted, but I tried to let it go since accidents happen.
It took several minutes before anyone came to take our drink order. Two different employees approached us at different times, and the process felt disorganized. Meanwhile, we noticed employees behind the bar taking shots and eating food, which came across as unprofessional, especially during dinner service.
After our drinks arrived, no one came to take our meal order for quite a while. At one point, someone who appeared to be a manager walked up and asked if we were ready for the check—before we had even ordered our food. We were confused, and he apologized, clearly realizing the mistake.
When we finally placed our order (3 quesabirria tacos, mini street tacos, fries, and a skirt steak), we watched as our food sat under the warmer with no one picking it up. The cooks even started whistling to get the servers’ attention, but the staff remained occupied behind the bar. Our server only grabbed the plates after noticing me looking at him, which was disappointing—especially since we wanted this to be a nice birthday dinner for our son.
The food itself was plated beautifully and tasted great, though it was noticeably less warm due to sitting out. We didn’t complain because we had a movie to catch, but it definitely affected the experience.
Sadly, this visit was a major letdown. The service has gone downhill dramatically, which is disappointing for such a unique setting. We probably won’t be returning. I personally didn’t feel inclined to leave a tip, though we still left a few dollars

Had a Great Time Celebration was a family birthday dinner. Service was excellent. Food was good & healthy. The cost was also wonderful in comparison to other steak house menu item costs.

What a fantastic birthday celebration we had with friends! The ambiance was absolutely spot on, making for a really enjoyable evening. But let’s talk about the food – wow! The seafood was definitely a highlight and a must-try, cooked to perfection. And seriously, don’t skip the desert platter; it was the perfect sweet ending to an already delicious meal. Highly recommend this spot for a fun time with great food!

BEAUTIFUL RESTAURANT! Great ATMOSPHERE, great FOOD, and great STAFF. My family and I came here for the first time to celebrate my mom’s birthday on 8/4 and I just want to say we will definitely be back!!! Great service, yummy food served in good portions and great drinks, and fair prices! The presentation of the food was also very nice. All the staff we came across were so friendly and professional. They were also very informative and informed us about a show that goes on from 7-10pm on Fridays and Saturdays and we can’t wait to come back to see it!

We returned from dinner at Tostadas Prime and were surprised to receive an email from OpenTable stating that the restaurant marked us as a no-show, which was clearly incorrect. This has never happened to me before, as I’ve never missed or been late for a reservation. I hope they resolve this issue.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the service provided by Jay, who was professional, courteous, and displayed stellar communication skills. The food was generally above average, with our favorite dish being the skirt steak. I ordered the Enchiladas by the Sea, which I found a bit bland and could have used more seasoning, though the addition of carrots on the side was a nice touch. We also had guacamole, which we thought needed more salt, and the bread pudding, which was generously sized—so much so that we took most of it home.
We appreciated the service, the ambiance, and the parking, which wasn’t too difficult since the restaurant is located in a large plaza. There was a big birthday party happening during our visit, but overall, the restaurant was half-empty—likely because it was just after New Year’s and many people might have been resting.

I was so Disappointed with this Place. The Food was Not that Great. The Calamari was Rubery and Cold. The Tacos where just OK. The Steak had way to much Fat. The Staff was Friendly and the Atmosphere was Good. But for what what they charged I will Not be Returning to this place again.

But beware, you will spend some Mula here. Sides are charge separately, which is a first to me. Drinks are tasty not as pricy as the actual food. Which again. It’s a first. I spent 300 just for me and my wife. Be ready to spend anywhere between 60 to 150 per person. Other than the price this place was great. I have to come back to try different things.

Overall food and drinks were good, the only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the shrimp tacos they were burnt. We did let our server know and they graciously removed from our bill. Aside from the Ensenada shrimp tacos, we had the aguachile steak and bone marrow tacos which were delicious. The food wait time was little to none, very fast efficient and well executed by the chefs.
Cocktails we had the cantarito and BBL, very great!
Unfortunately service was lacking, kinda wild how long it took to get attended/greeted/ordered mind you we had reservations and it was not overfilled with guests. Front desk host could be a little warmer a bit dry. Obviously we are all allowed one off days. I’ll have to go again some other time and see if it’s better.

OMG! I was NOT expecting such a beautiful atmosphere, amazing music, and delicious food. My waiter was informative and extremely kind! The wine list met my high standards, and the oysters were especially sweet and creamy. It’s definitely an adult atmosphere, but I’m not mad about that at all (date night or dinner with the ladies for sure)! The hall of mirrors en route to the restroom was a fantastic touch.
Con: Music was a little too loud but kept me dancing in my seat all throughout my dining experience.

The food at tostadas prime is really delicious. I loved the Al pastor trompo I ordered, it was fresh and flavorful. However, the overall experience was a bit disappointing.
