First time visitor. Ordered a Philly Cheesesteak lunch special, and man, it was on point. All the employees were cool, customer service was great, food was hot and fresh (bonus points for use of Mancini’s bread), and the fella who waited on me even was kind enough to get me a push pin so I could put up some of my business cards on the cork board. Will definitely be back for pizza next time!

Wanted to try this place for a while, and finally had the opportunity as we were running late. Tried first to order a delivery. Even though the web site said that they deliver within a five mile radius – and that we live 3 miles away – they would not deliver to us. OK, we ordered takeout. The young woman who took our order was obviously rushing and could not, or would not, answer the question about the salad dressing that we had. Hmm… not a good sign.
We arrived for the pickup and our order was ready. That is a good sign.
Drove back home and unpacked everything. We did receive what we ordered – that is another good sign (Some of the delivery services had recently made way too many errors!).
Now for the main event! How it all tasted.
Good points for presentation: The pizza and the salad looked gorgeous. Both were very colorful and looked appealing. The pizza was NOT greasy at all and even the bottom of the crust was dry.
The salad was full of interesting veggies, although what made it a greek salad beyond Kalamata olives and a sprinkiing of Feta is unclear to me. Spinach was the main green in this salad!
The disappointments were that the pizza was uneven. The outside edges of the crust were of a medium thickness and nicely baked, but the inside, where all the toppings were, was very thin and could not hold all the toppings. Now, we ordered one of their standard collections, so it’s not like we overloaded it. Secondly, the veggie pizza was very, VERY, salty. Not sure what caused that. On the other hand, the hand-cut fries that we also ordered came completely unsalted! What’s with that?
Bottom line, a very uneven performance which justifies the middle of the road rating I give this place.

Was very impressed with this business. Clean and inviting atmosphere with a kind staff. Ordered a half and half pizza along with lemon pepper wings. Didn’t have to wait very long for food (less than 15 minutes). Pizza was delicious and fresh from the oven. Wings were very fresh too and had plenty of meat on the bone. The only complaint I have with the wings is I wish there was more seasoning, couldn’t really taste the lemon part of the seasoning. Other than that, it was very good.

Correction from my previous review the food is actually very above average and the worker Alex is a delight to be around. I believe he is a prime example of what the American workforce should look like. Hard working and good manors!

Not bad. 21 years in Pittsburgh and I am still holding out for a mind-blowing pizza. I ordered through UberEats and will likely just get it myself next time, as an hour was long enough to cool everything down and get sloppy in the car. That said, I LOVE the options on how to prepare sauce for the wings, a definite plus!!!!

In my estimation. TOSS Is the best place to order a hoagie because the ingredients are fresh. I also enjoy their wings with their House barbecue sauce!

I got a couple large one topping pizzas for the Tuesday night special for $13 each — very good value in my opinion and the staff were very friendly and great. The pizza by default is very much so a baseline pizza that will meet your expectations if you want a no-frills pizza with a nice soft dough. One of the pizzas had the optional sweet tomato sauce and it had a nice kick for the first few slices, but lost its luster after a few slices. The sausage was not as good as the pepperoni and wasn’t as I expected it to be (crumbled and distributed throughout the majority of the pizza). The sandwiches we got were good but the bread was on the soggier side (which I don’t particularly mind).

Not my favorite place for price. But definitely for convenience. A 16 cut jumbo ($30 with pepperoni) pizza was ready for take out in 15 minutes on a friday. We took a while to get there and it was held in a hot box (food warmer) and I think that’s great for maintaining the temperature of a hot food item.
They have a larger and kinda unique menu for a standard pizza place with some health options like grilled wings and cauliflower crust pizza. The pizza was cooked perfectly. Crispy on the bottom but not burnt. Ask for it to be well done if you want really crispy pepperoni or really crispy crust.
Always busy on a friday but always staffed accordingly. Staff is great. Definitely a USC staple.
Could expand sweets sections but definitely not a make or break.

We ordered takeout…two larges: Pittsburgh Pizza and cheese pizza. We loved them both!!! The Pitt pizza is a bit rich, but still delicious. We enjoyed the crust, plenty of flavor, we’ll be back for sure!
