Phenomenal service. Root beer does not taste good. Don’t know if it’s the ice or what. Cheesesteak was a square piece of Kraft cheese that didn’t cover the whole sandwich.. I can make one better with steakems at home but it was warm. Fries were fantastic. Kids pasta was cold. Smash burger – one person liked theirs said it was warm.. other person said theirs was cold. This is the second time I’ve been here this past year. My partner wants me to add no one offered to refill our drinks. We won’t be coming back needless to say. This was for a fundraiser and the little league is going to hear me give other suggestions for sure.
Add: Barely anyone was at this fundraiser. Not even 1/2 of the place. Little league will better off finding another place to raise profit is a fact. We came out to show support for this restaurant doing a fundraiser after a bad experience in the summer. We left tip to a waiter who didn’t come to check on us after we received our food. I got up to find someone for the check. Paid cash $76.77 tipped $10. Usually I tip around half the bill so $35. The owner must think this experience was acceptable with the way they responded to this review.

I had a fantastic experience at this Irish pub. The service was excellent, with standout attentiveness from Em, who went above and beyond. The food was delicious, especially the smash burger—highly recommended! Their drinks menu is impressive. The music volume was just right for lunch, providing a great vibe without being overwhelming. Throughout the experience, there were little details that didn’t go unnoticed and added to the overall quality, especially appreciated by the discerning eye. Prices are reasonable, making it a great spot for an enjoyable meal. I definitely look forward to returning!

Our server was great, but the food was trash. Tony, you shouldn’t be cooking anything… stale bread, one patheric burnt-up patty on a supposedly two-patty smash burger, nothing but brisket fat in the Reuben rolls, turned a cod fish into a ghost fish… I would have been embarrassed to send that out to paying customers. Shame on you.

Our second time here! Service is good! Staff is friendly and helpful with the service! Had Cottage Pie and Fish and chips! Would come back here just for that! Delicious food! They have a spacious dinning room and bar areas! Plenty of seating! They have game room with dart boards and pool tables! TVs all around for movies and sports to watch! Came back! Still a great spot to stop and grab a bite to eat and drink! Had shepherd pie delicious and service still very good!

Waiter did not have patience for our large group and got frustrated from small request. I got the ADULT chicken tender basket and when it came out it only had two chicken tenders in the ADULT chicken tender basket which was 12 dollars and when I asked if I could order more chicken tenders the waiter threw his hands up shook his head and walked away at quickly and when he came back he acted like I never talked to him. He forgot to bring out my friend food (it was only us in the restaurant). Waiter complained about how he was up to his shoulders in orders. But any other time I have been it was amazing.

The food is so good. I have come twice and ordered the corned beef and cabbage both times. The corned beef is finished on the flat top so it’s got a little crispy edge to it. And the red skinned potatoes are buttery and rich! The portions are generous for the price. The place is clean and well kept. The servers are very nice . Ours offered to have a meal split and brought out on two plates for our girls to share so I didn’t have to hack away trying to divide a burger while my own food got cold. I will be back for sure! I’m not sure where the negative reviewers ate because it definitely wasn’t here!

So happy to finally have an Irish pub in Calvert County, and the fact that their food quality is so perfectly on point makes it so much better!
I had the Steak and Blue salad, and will most certainly get it again. My daughter got The Dubliner and loved it too (I may have stolen a some bites because it looked so good; it’s a burger topped with caramelized onions and gravy, on top of a heaping portion of mashed potatoes). Wide selection of bottled beers and beers on tap, friendly customer service, clean facilities, and family friendly. Would definitely recommend!
