This was a great spot to get some sushi . I’m still new to the area, so it was awesome to see this sushi spot and a ramen spot next door. Both were popular with plenty of people enjoying meals there. I was seated quickly and given a sushi menu in which you write how many rolls you want and a regular menu to see what dinner plates and appetizers they had. I ordered miso soup and hot tea while my boyfriend ordered Sapporo large and garlic edamame for us to share. They even gave small glasses to share the drinks. Lastly, we ordered 3 different rolls. Spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and shrimp tempera . We are definitely returning! Even seeing the different plates other patrons received inspire is to try more things.

Had the omakase special. Everything is great: food, service, atmosphere. The chef came out and greeted our table. Great sushi spot in Gardena! The omakase had more than what’s pictured- I tend to forget to take pictures of everything. It was a lot and very delicious. Others had the chirashi combo and the sashimi combo. Parking is a little tough when it’s busy in the plaza, but there are other adjacent lots that “don’t mind” (but mind) if you park there.

We visited toshi sushi on a short trip in Los Angeles and it was one of the best sushi places I had ever been to. So good we actually went twice during our 3 day trip. The sushi is very fresh and presented beautifully. The service is also fantastic with the chef coming out to greet us and ask us about our food. The place is small and hidden but it is truly a gem and I recommend to anyone in Gardena. The restaurant is clean and comfortable and the experience is great.

The sushi is very fresh and the price is right. The customer service is great and the chef Toshi comes out and say hi to everyone! They do have omakase and the cost is $68/$98. I will definitely come again and try different items. One bad thing about this place is the parking! It is hard to find a parking spot during busy hours since it is shared with a ramen place next door.

Best Chirashi Sushi you can find in the greater LA. Shumai, Gyoza, and Egg Rolls are freshly homemade. The Ice Cream Tempura is a crowd pleaser and a delicious way to end a great meal. Many great dishes to try and come back for more. Prices are very reasonable for the very high quality and freshness of the food.

Look no further! Toshi Sushi is the place to go! Authentic Japanese food with very friendly staff! They had daily specials up on the wall, great menu which had kids meals (huge hit with our kids!) and also Combinations and Omakase. I forgot to take some pictures but will definitely be back and post more! They also have a side private booth area, which seats maybe about 12 people. We already planned our next birthday here! Come check them out!

Shijimi clam miso soup was outstanding ! I also had the sashimi daily special (chef’s choice) red snapper, toro and jumbo clam super fresh. The salmon skin hand roll was also a winner, skin was perfectly crisped not burned with just enough moist fish for flavor.
