The most authentic sushi spot in the Portland area. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but the tastes, atmosphere, energy take you to another country. I love the simplicity of this hidden gem. The homemade gyoza were huge and so tasty. The sushi rolls were fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to stop in again!

Amazing quality sushi! Very easy to order (with paper sheets) – expanded menu is also available, but we did not need it. Also got the seaweed salad, which was one of the best I’ve ever had! Highly recommend going!

The first time I went I tried a stir fry dish that was kind of basic. I feel like it was a Japanized Chinese dish. Mostly just soy sauce based. Just wasn’t the same as a decent Chinese stir-fry that uses oyster sauce and whatever else.

I ordered pot stickers and Gomoku Don. My husband ordered some sushi rolls and chicken curry. Everything was fantastic. The staff was very attentive. Not a long wait at all. Small seating area, best to get there as soon as they open to beat the dinner crowd. The soup and salad served with dinner was good too!

Authentic Japanese sushi restaurant with quality food and friendly staff. Their chirashi (seafood sushi rice) has all the pricer sushi and good balance of rice. Menu has a few more items which you can’t easily found from other restaurants. They also have specials that are directly delivered from Japan. It has the small Japanese town restaurant. Be prepared for a longer wait on the order.
