So it took almost an hour for my order. The meatball parm sandwich my wife said was good. My lasagna was warm at best. The lasagna, very little sauce, and the bottom was baked ricotta that was brown, and dry, I saw 1 layer of pasta, the cheese on top was good, but not enough to save this dish. The garlic bread was comical and dry as well, a little butter and jar garlic not fresh. No parsley or cheese. I had high hopes from previous reviews from others. The only reason there are 2 stars is my wife said it was a good hero.

December 2025 update – Toscana is a must visit in NJ for delicious food, great value and friendly staff. Highly recommend the thin crust margherita, half buff chick half vodka sauce with chicken cutlet pie. The buffalo wings are crispy and mozzarella sticks are a good starter. The owner even gave us cannolis for free that our Italian friend thought were some of the best he’s tried.

Very good food. As a visitor from Florida, I always look forward to NJ pizza. This place did not disappoint. I had 2 slices with pepperoni. The crust was nice and toasted on the bottom. The sauce was delicious. And the cheese and pepperoni was excellent. But the real bonus was my fried calamari. They were taking a while to make, but I noticed they appeared to be hand breading them…none of that pre-breaded stuff. They were great!!

All I had to do was see the bright Red Sauce breaking through the cheese to know that this was going to be a great slice of pizza. Hunting the Best Slice on the Pizza Hunters App, this would be a highly rated slice. A nice thin crust with a tasty cheese. That know how to make a great slice of pizza. I will be going back really soon. The owner was super nice and was excited to talk about pizza. This makes for a great pizza experience.

What I miss with being vegan is good cheese pizza. Toscana really came through and has delicious pizza. A lot of restaurants aren’t willing to carry vegan cheese and I get it. Toscana allowed me to purchase a brand new bag of cheese from the supermarket in the adjoining complex and they added it to my pie! Truly the best vegan pizza I’ve had in a long time, possibly ever. Thank you for thinking outside the box and being willing to try something new!!

Your personal Nutella pizza is half a personal size pizza. It’s folded with Nutella inside and on top which is cool but it’s a thin crust pizza ? Weird and hard to chew lol. The calamari in marinara with shrimp (4 pieces for $7 extra) that’s super expensive for no reason. The calamari are the size of a penny. The portion is decent but it’s basically all pasta w a hint of seafood.

Toscana’s pizza is always delicious! I order from here weekly and recently had them deliver 100 pies for an event. The staff was great, and the pizza was delivered hot and enjoyed by all.
