This restaurant did not disappoint. We were looking for an authentic Italian restaurant and Toscana is the place to be. I had lasagna al forno and the pasta melts in your mouth. It was delicious. It brought me back to Venice. Ill recommend this place to all my friends who are visiting as well as anyone who lives in NYC . You need a reservation for this place especially on the weekends. The servers are quite nice

Toscana49 was lovely! My friends and partner and I went for a last minute dinner on New Year’s Eve and Richard got us in and took great care of us. Food was phenomenal, atmosphere was relaxing and service was excellent. Highly recommend!

We were visiting Midtown and looking for a place to eat when Toscana 49 caught our attention because it was packed and had such a lively vibe! We didn’t have a reservation, but decided to give it a try anyway.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome. Although we waited about 15 minutes to be seated, it was absolutely worth it.
The food was delicious and the service was super friendly and attentive. We have not experienced such genuine warmth and immense hospitality is a long while.
We will definitely be back!

Toscana 49 is one of my favorite spots in the city. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made with real care. You can taste the quality in every dish, especially the pasta and the meats. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. It’s the kind of place that feels both special and relaxed at the same time. I always look forward to coming back.

The food is delicious- all Italian style.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
And they are all fans of European football (soccer…).

Oh that is a good one, that is a very good restaurant and the service was spot on! We went for a dinner date and it was cosy, not too loud. The food was generous and delicious, the server paired us with very good wine. We had a great experience at that place and would recommend.

Just finished a great meal here sitting at the nice old wood bar top since I was by myself (requested that). I admit I sometimes try other high rated Italian places once in a while when in other parts of the city and I am always disappointed compared to Toscana 49. This place is so good, for the food, service and even fair prices. It happened this week where I went somewhere else newer, was not very good and then had to come here to have lasagna and caprese salad done right!
