I’ve been here twice and I got the same meal both times because it was just that wonderful – Caesar salad and champagne pear sachetti. That pasta is so wonderful, It’s a dinner and dessert all wrapped in one. It scored mediocre on service because, both times, the wait staff wasn’t very attentive (even on a not-so-busy Christmas Eve lunch) nor did they actually listen to our requests when accommodating a baby/toddler. Definitely would leave the kids at home coming to this restaurant.

Gorgeous, especially the outside garden with a pretty waterfall and live fish! I’m so glad I finally got to try this restaurant. Octopus appetizer, delicious! Perfectly done on perfect greens. I liked my Cesar salad with shrimp and my husband enjoyed his burger. Excellent service! Will return!

There’s a ton of Italian places in SJ and they’re all good and worth trying, but some places got that extra oomph. This was the place, went for dinner with wife. Starter was bread, very fresh, it was good, too good, we had to ask for extra. For appetizer, we had the cheese board, it was very good and worth the money for sure except for grapes, although cold they were sour and had seeds, who wants to pick those on a date? Even with that, I’d order it again, cheeses were delicious and the spread was tasty as well. My wife had Homemade Pear & Ricotta Stuffed Pasta, which she really liked, the sauce especially. I had Rioja filet mignon on special and it was outstanding. I wasn’t asked for temperature preference on my steak which striked me odd. It is grilled, and when the server came back later on i asked her about it and she was like „ohh you want medium?” I didn’t mind medium but because of the cook on grill I was afraid of them over cooking it and asked for medium rare. Turns out the chefs know exactly what they’re doing and it came out to perfect medium rare. The rice was amazing as well.
We topped it off with the banana pudding which was delicious. Overall very happy to have such a good place so close. The server was very attentive although she never asked us if everything was okay with the food.
I absolutely recommend this place and will be back again.

This was my first time eating at this beautiful Italian restaurant! The atmosphere takes you on a trip to Italy, from the decor to the outside patio. The menu has something for everyone. I ordered something I wouldn’t normally order and I was pleasantly surprised! I had the pear stuffed sacchetti pasta with a glass of peach sangria. It was delicious!

We visited this restaurant multiple times in the past and love it. This was our first time sitting outside and we were so impressed! We sat in the covered courtyard that overlooks a waterfall that flows into a large koi pond. The pond is surrounded by beautiful trees, plants, bushes and flowers which is simply breathtaking. Our table was adorned with fresh flowers, which gave it a touch of elegance.
A fresh basket of warm bread and herb infused olive oil is provided at each table as you are seated. I order the herb crusted tilapia, which was served with asparagus and a round risotto cake. The tilapia was delicious and cooked to perfection. The risotto cake had and nice crust on the outside and was delightfully creamy and delectable on the inside. I really could have eaten two or three of them since they were that good! I hope they will be added to Primi menu at some point. We also had their Caesar salad which was served chilled and it was amazing.
Whether you are going out with friends or on a date night with your significant other, this needs to be you go to spot. We plan to visit again soon before the weather breaks and it is too cold to sit outside. I hear that they decorate very nicely around the holidays as well!

Food was great. I’m only giving this 4 stars as I did like how we got greeted despite reservation. The hostess seemed distracted and confused. Put us near front door despite prior reservations and many empty tables. I had to ask to be moved. Later as we walked out she also was distracted and really interested in making guests feel welcome. We appreciated our waitress and the food was excellent I would do some training with hostess on better communication and demonstrating hospitality. I had CACIUCCO and it was so delicious! Lots of sea food and spices to perfection.

Was not busy on a Friday night. Very big and beautifully decorated dining room. Nice menu and wine choices. Salad was fresh and well dressed, but not a typical Ceaser. All of our entrees are presented well. My steak was cooked perfectly medium. My daughter loved and finished her gnocchi pomodoro. The baked macaroni was okay, but a little dry. Tiramisu for dessert was a winner. The food was good, I’d dine there again and try different dishes. This restaurant did not appear to be Italian owned.

Absolutely loved this place on my first visit. They have this beautiful restaurant that literally makes you feel like you are in little Italy. They also have two outdoor levels for seating. One with a gorgeous terrace were you can still sit outside even if it’s raining. And another with a waterfall and a big koi pond. Both all covered with plants and flowers. The food was phenomenal‼️ they make everything in-house including their pasta and that completely resonates through their food. And for an amazing price! It was two of us and we got a bottle of wine, an app, 2 entrees, and two desserts and the bill was just slightly over $100. We left very full, but vertmy pleased.
Our server Kenia was awesome . We were friends catching up and she read that perfectly without being told. She gave us our space, but was always right there before we needed her, and the timing of everything was perfect and spot on. Excellent service all around.
