We had an amazing meal at Tosca! The menu is quite small but you can’t go wrong, and I’d recommend sharing a couple of pastas so you can try as many as you can. We got the whipped ricotta with focaccia (SO GOOD, we got seconds of this!), the orechiette with butternut squash, and the beef tagliatelle – we tried a few of the red wines as well – everything was excellent! Recommend to everyone!

Another fantastic linden hills restaurant! The interior is cozy and romantic for date nights. We went on a Sunday evening during a Vikings game and there were plenty of tables but I imagine it gets busy on other nights. Our server was great.
Based on other reviews, we tried the brussel sprout appetizer, which were the best brussel sprouts I’ve ever had. For $9, it was a huge serving. The focaccia was also the best bread I’ve ever had— we asked if they sell that and it’s only served with meals which I’m bummed about. The white bucatini and short rib pasta were amazing! I will definitely be back!

Spicy but a really good red pepper spicy. Mn nice spicy.
Noodles done with good texture. A little crunch and cheese on top.
Tagliatelle with Short Rib Ragu
Surprising seemed like lighter dish even with the rich short ribs, good flavors.
Shell Pea Agnolotti
We really wanted the other two pastas but this one was the best. Super yummy, and braised greens were amazing with creamy goodness inside the pasta.
We came for the first two pastas but fell in love with the Agnolotti.
Meatballs
Yummy! Bed of polenta and carmalized carrots make this dish, but the fresh herbs add a great pop to keep it fresh.

Cramy goodness, no one has said I am polenta guy but this was really good
Chicken
White bean, the pickled veggie are a hit with the crispy chicken. Big chunks of garlic.

Delicious Italian food guaranteed…at least that has been our experience on our many recent visits to Tosca. We have not tried everything but highlights are the brussel sprouts (should be tried even if you think you don’t like these edible buds, here prepared crisp, sweet and savory), beef tagliatelle and short ribs! Simple atmosphere and relatively easy parking.

Trust me. You should eat here. We live in the neighborhood and the food at Tosca is just as good, if not better than all of the really popular Italian spots nearby. It’s so fresh, seasonal, and full of flavor. Our 4 year old loves the spaghetti and we can always count on a really good glass of wine. Such a great spot that we keep coming back to. Thank you Tosca!
