Upscale but not elitist. Our servers were very attentive and all dishes were delicious. Great brussel sprouts, solid beef tagliatelle, and the best short rib + polenta dish I’ve had. Reliable date spot with very reasonable wine bottles.

New menu is amazing! I went here many years ago and thought it was good but nothing special. It now has a new chef and a new menu and it is amazing! I’m a huge fan of Martina, Rosalia, Colita, etc. and this is right on par. In some ways, it is a hair better. Fabulous food and desserts. The only thing that could use a little work is the interior of the restaurant (a little outdated). The wait staff is extremely friendly, personable and wonderful. Somehow all of the servers we dealt with had a great sense of humor and were enjoyable to interact with. If you went years ago as I did, and gave up on it, you must go back and try it again! Top notch.

Very good food. Kitchen can pump the food out quick. Our server was polite but a bit slow and unpolished. Dining area is small and acoustics are horrible. It can be very loud and the main lights kept flickering the whole time we were there.

Was really excited about trying a new Italian place in the neighborhood, but our experience was pretty underwhelming. We ordered a bottle of white wine which was not chilled at all and was almost warm given how hot it was that day, which put a bit of a damper on things. Our bread came out long after our salad and while we were already eating our entrees, which was weird. The pasta was definitely not bad, but nothing crazy to write home about. I know they share a space with Turtle Bread, but I wish the interior felt a little less dated. Will probably give it another shot after they’ve been open a little longer and get their bearings together, as I think it has a ton of potential!

My friends and I enjoyed a fabulous Friday night dinner! We enjoyed the swordfish and classic cacio pepe. The focaccia with eggplant stew and barata was (muah!). No room for dessert, but the bubbles and reds were great. Best meal I’ve had in a LONG time – can’t wait to go back!
