Tosakko Ramen & Yakitori is a Japanese ramen and yakitori restaurant in Pasadena known for rich tonkotsu ramen broths and charcoal-grilled yakitori skewers. Founded in Tokyo’s Ring Road No.7 ramen district and shaped by broth and fire, Tosakko later expanded to Paris and Shanghai. The Pasadena location is our first in the United States. Last order 30 minutes before closing. Closed on Tuesdays.

My fiancé and I were needing a place to eat before a movie and came across this lovely place. We had no clue it was their first day and we were so blown away by the food! I had the rich mazesoba and my fiancé had the signature ramen and my goodness, they were both phenomenal. The service was very kind, the owner and his wife were there asking for feedback, and they gave us additional food as well. Please go give this place some love, it’s showing a ton of promise and my fiancé and I will be back for more!

This place was fantastic. Loved the rich maze-soba. Noodles were so soft and bouncy and the sauce was rich and flavorful. Get the sparkling plum wine if you like something sweet and bubbly.

Ramen is great, I had the chicken ramen and broth is so flavorful, very white peppery which I loved. The yakitori (pork belly with lettuce) also had like a good char and umami. The service was great. Glad Pasadena is getting more yummy restaurants!

The zucchini skewer was very good, everything tasted delicious, and the atmosphere is chill. Would come here again.
