A warm, casual and welcoming atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor dining overlooking the beautiful marsh, just one block off the beach. This place is amazing, the owners were nice and all the food was super delicious! They make their own hot sauces as well and they are a must try! If ever close by you would be doing yourself a favor to stop in!!!!

If I could give Marnie and her staff more than five stars, I certainly would. What a super friendly and accommodating bunch! We stopped in for lunch a couple times and also had breakfast the morning we left the island. Such a fun atmosphere and the food was absolutely delicious! We felt like we had more than good food, we made good friends. Eat in or enjoy a place in the sun at the tables out front! We really enjoyed sitting outside and listening to a treeful of tropical birds carrying on about something. Can’t wait to go back to this charming place next year!

Had a great time with friends!! Food was great, the burritos and fajitas were huge and delicious! Marni & Rocco are the owners/operators and were SO inviting. Marni took the time to explain the menu, tell us her favorites and share their story, while Rocco was killing it in the kitchen! Initially i was excited for a margarita but they don’t serve liquor, the Flybird Margarita Wine was just as good, if not better than an original margarita. Will be our new go to restaurant everytime we’re in Edisto!!

Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was.
It’s somewhat self service and they do bring your food to the table.
There’s a hot sauce bar, which I enjoyed.
If their lunch and dinner is as good as the breakfast, then go for it too.

We recently stayed in Edisto Beach for our first time. The morning we left we stopped here and the food was wonderful and fresh!! I ate the breakfast burrito and hadn’t had chorizo that good in a really long time! My husband ate the quesadilla and it was plenty large! The staff was friendly and we would definitely return!

Absolutely delicious burritos, and a nice guy helped us with the order kiosk. My husband ordered House Burrito, I ordered Fajita Burrito (both chose Carnitas as meat choice). Each cost about $15. A single burrito is a FULL meal- you won’t go away hungry. Pleasant to eat indoors or out. PS we thought the food and value much better than other places on the island.

Worst Fajita quesadilla I’ve ever had in 60 years. Will never go back there. Would recommend finding another place to eat. Whaley’s is a great option and wonderful food and less money, the shrimp and oyster dinner was phenomenal it’s where the locals go

Fantastic experience at Tortugas! The staff was friendly and helpful while we were using the self-service kiosks to order. The restaurant was clean and had a relaxed atmosphere. The best part was the delicious food! It’s all made fresh and in house. We found something that fit our plant based diet and was very satisfying as well! Try it out if you are ever in Edisto Beach!
