Soups were hot and tasty. Salad was fresh crisp and not overly covered in dressings.
I also tried the Tour of Italy and it was very underwhelming. Everything looked flat and unappetizing. The lasagna in particular was disappointing — thin, flat, and lacking flavor.
Dessert was another letdown. The portion was tiny, barely enough for one person, and they didn’t even have the white chocolate that’s supposed to be on top. It felt incomplete and not worth ordering.
Overall, the portions were small, the presentation was poor, and the experience didn’t match what I expected.
Our waitress didn’t check on us one single time after taking our orders.
We sat with just waters at our table for a while. 15 mins later, the breadsticks finally came out with my soup+sweet tea.
Our entrees came out at different times.
We weren’t asked if we needed refills because our waitress never came back (she didn’t even serve my entree, someone else did).
I had to flag staff down to ask for parmesan cheese, more breadsticks, more soup, more sweet tea, and a to go box. we never even got water refills.
To top it all off, our waitress gave us one singular mint even though two of us were dining.
Other tables around us were being served at a normal speed by a different waitress.
Never again at this location, considering we spent about half the time there with empty drinks/plates waiting for our waitress or any staff member to come by.
The food was good, and I really liked the ambiance. We ordered the Chicken and Gnocchi Soup, Shrimp Fettuccine, and Seafood Fettuccine, all were tasty. Our server didn’t check on us often, but it wasn’t a big deal. I’d definitely come back one day.
I usually wouldn’t say one Olive Garden stands out from the other unless it is a negative experience. Joe was the best server I have had in years….like if you could give a Michelin star to a server. He was kind, respective, attentive and went over the top to make sure we had the best dining experience.
Her service was top notch. If her level of care and professionalism could be replicated across the team, it would serve the company incredibly well. The Zuppa Toscana tonight was more brothy than creamy with a slight off taste, and the Eggplant Parmesan had clearly been sitting under the warmer long enough for the spaghetti noodles to crisp. Maureen handled everything with grace. She immediately brought out a fresh order of spaghetti and marinara, and although she has no control over the kitchen, she took total ownership of the experience and made it right.
Her attitude was genuinely contagious, even on a busy Friday night.
If you visit this Olive Garden, ask for Maureen. She won’t let you down.
P.S. To management: take good care of her – she’s a keeper.
