We started with the focaccia and ricotta with honey. It was sweet but a delicious combination.
I also got a glass of wine but it wasn’t given to me so I had to ask for it from the person passing the food / expediting.
I got the Aglio, olio e peperoncino, it had chilis and cheese with olive oil. It was good, simple but good.
My partner got the Cacio e Pepe which he says was tasty and better than most food on Division. He also got a macchiato which he also had to ask for because it was not delivered.
It’s pretty good pasta.
Focaccia Ricotta & Honey:
This was delicious, and I’m happy we chose this as our appetizer! The Focaccia came out warm, slightly toasted yet soft with lingering salt. The ricotta & honey combination was absolutely wonderful, though I do feel the ratio was a bit off (more honey please).
Cavatelli al Pesto:
The freshly made pasta really stands out. The pesto was good as well, not too overpowering. The pasta barely covered one layer of the plate.
Aglio e Olio:
I enjoyed this so much more than the pesto. The pasta was twirled high in a fun pile, giving the illusion of more food than it actually is. Slightly spicy.
And the soda selection was pretty limited – they didn’t have Coca-Cola or Pepsi, so I ended up getting one of their own flavors, which wasn’t really my favorite. I think you should definitely look for some memories from Italy to enjoy there or their meals. Personally, I found the food and salad to be delicious. Except for the cashier’s behavior and the high prices of food and sodas, everything else was good.
We went on a Friday night so there was a line outside and the food took a bit to arrive but the staff was kind. Highly recommended sitting outside when it’s crowded (weather-permitting).
I think we ordered half of the menu! Honestly one of the best & freshest meals we have had! My husband & I met our 2 adult sons and we all LOVED it!
From the Insalata di Polpo (octopus salad) & Burrata salad to the appetizers of Ricotta di Pecora & Focaccia, Ricotta & Honey… We were thrilled from the beginning!
Then came the most delicious pastas – so fresh, such quality ingredients & beautiful!
We each had a different favorite pasta but honestly it was so hard to pick our favorite….WE LOVED THEM ALL! We dined outside.
Thanks for an amazing experience!
The whipped ricotta and honey was AMAZING! But the Cacio e Pepe Special was mediocre :/ There wasn’t much going on with the sauce and some of the noodles were cold. It was also very firm, even for al dente (maybe a thinner noodle would be better?)
• Whipped ricotta ⭐️5/5
• Cacio e Pepe Special ⭐️2.5/5
**All the pastas are al dente (firm noodles), so keep that in mind
**It is also on the pricier side considering the food and service quality. For 1 appetizer and 1 pasta dish it was $48. And so not expect large portions.
My service experience:
The server asked if we were okay with sitting at the pasta bar, and we said that we would prefer to sit outside (there was an open table outside) and she said no because she already assigned it to someone. So we asked if we could just wait for one to open and she said that they “don’t do that here”… what? (Then why ask us?) Then the people behind us got sat outside at that open table…
Later we saw TWO tables open up outside and asked her again if we could move tables and she refused—maybe she was having a bad day, and I want to give her grace, but her actions were very disappointing and it was hard to enjoy the dinner
**Disclaimer: I would give this place a 3/5 if the service was better, but I believe service quality contributes to the food experience
