Definitely 4 plus stars, but not quite 5 in my opinion. Food was really really good, but not great. I might have thought differently if I tried them after a night of drinking Instead of a movie 🙂 Asada tacos were very tasty, with adobada a close second. The lengua and tripas coming in 3rd and 4th respectively. The issue for me was the meat is chopped so fine, it’s hard to taste the meat and I like to taste the different types of tacos. Don’t get me wrong, put some of their tasty salsa or two on each taco and they taste good enough. You just can’t taste the difference in each like I prefer. I also ordered a torta de milanesa which was a little better than the tacos, IMO, but the meat was pretty thin. Again, very tasty though and you could tell it was milanesa.

Amazing burritos, definitely going to return with friends. The service was quick and friendly. The burrito was perfect, moist meat and a great ratio of meat and rice. One of the best I’ve had in a long time. I can’t wait to try the Torta.

Awesome quality asada burritos, fantastic sauces to go with it! They take credit and Quick service. 2 burritos and a soda for $13. So glad we stopped and we will definitely be going again next time we are in the neighborhood!

The Customer service was very outstanding, they have tables and chairs to be able to sit and eat there. The green guacamole sauce was amazing, food wise they had a very limited menu we ordered some Asada, Tripas, and lengua tacos. The lengua tacos were absolutely amazing! The rest of the tacos were great for the price. The quesadilla with chorizo, potato plus cheese is definitely the best I have in town, the tortillas are made fresh and by hand. My only helpful criticism would be the meat was very tiny on the tacos, probably because it was very finely chopped but I work at a Mexican restaurant and I know that meat is expensive. The tacos at my job go for about $3 but the meat is very high quality and big chunk, the only down fall is people don’t want to pay that much for a taco. So I understand, other than that definitely very pleased with my visit. Will be coming back

The food is made with love and you can taste it! Lol It’s so good! We got tacos, a burrito, chorizo and papa kesadilla, and a torta. I don’t like chorizo or tortas lol . But these were so good! I love how the chorizo is not overpowering the other ingredients and the torta has so much flavor and the bread is so soft. I’m going back later today lol

I don’t usually post a review on taco trucks but I must admit, the tacos, tortas and the hand made quesadillas at Tortas montealban are simply the best in the SGV and comparable if not better than most taquerias in East LA/Boyle Heights which is were I grew up. Great service too and the Horchata is really good. Only negative is that they don’t setup until 7pm which can be a little late for the little ones. They should consider setting up at 6pm.

What can I say about this place? Their food speaks for itself. Yes, you can visit other trucks, or even a restaurant… But why? This place is like find $100 in your pocket. You rarely find that much, or never find that much. but once you do, you itch for it. Good thing for you, this place is here for you.
