If you like menudo, this I the best you will ever have in your lifetime! We try to go every Sunday as much as we can and every time, it never disappoints. The flavor is consistent, I can’t recommend this place enough for its menudo! saying … is “Absolutely amazing!” Is an understatement! I love the atmosphere, customer service is excellent. EMPORIA AND SURROUNDS!!! When I say the absolutely best breakfast burrito I have had in my entire life is at 6th and Sylvan and can be had for like $11.00, you should RUN, do not walk, to Tortas El Toro. This was by far the best I’ve ever had in my life! It was AMAZING. My son and I split one and were full. The salsa was authentic and everything was delicious.

While many folks were stocking up on milk and toilet paper for the cold spell, I picked up a gallon of menudo from El Toro. Now I’m home, it’s 3 degrees outside, wind-chill is 15 below zero. Stopped in on the way through town for lunch, and it did not disappoint. Barbacoa torta was amazing- huge portion and fresh ingredients. Al pastor tacos and chilaquiles (green) were also delicious. If you like authentic Mexican food, give this place a try!

I travel 250 days a year and am a foodie. Walking into Tornado El Toro is like being in Mexico!! The food is amazing!!! Their breakfast burritos are some of the best I have ever had and HUGE. I bought three breakfast burritos. DO NOT GO TO ANY OTHER SO CALLED MEXICAN PLACE IN THIS AREA, THERE IS NO, ZERO COMPARISON. Wow, the food and prices are great, and seriously, we are talking authentic. Go Go Go here!!!

Delicious, and authentic, Mexican food that is worth every penny! The building may not look like much from the road but the food and the freidnly service from Olga make this a wonderful place for breakfast or lunch. I’ll definitely come back to try other dishes!
