This is an excellent restaurant. It had high in quality food that people were dressed more casually, especially around the bar. The Chicken spiedini garozzo with the amogio was unique and incredible. Also very large portions. The unique oil and bread with Parmesan cheese in the beginning was excellent as were the salads. Marcus was our server and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back and I highly recommend it.

Absolutely love this place!!! Always a must stop anytime we’re in the area. Food is delicious, makes for the best leftovers too because portion sizes are wonderful! Stopped there on my last trip and ordered carryout, it was still warm 3hrs later when it was time to eat because they packed it so well! Wonderful atmosphere and great service!

Good food! I had the Eggplant Parmesean. It was really good, and the leftovers heated up really nicely. As for the ambiance, they sat my son & I in an overflow room. Which seemed like an overflow room– not really the great environment that I had heard about. As we walked to/from our table, we could see that the other parts of the restaurant were much nicer. The server was nice. Nothing above & beyond when it came to the waitstaff– they were okay. The wine was good and food was good. So that’s what was most important.

We’ve been visiting Garrazzo’s for a long time! It’s fresh & delicious. Our server tonight Marcus was awesome! He is genuine, smart & very cool. He was quick to make sure we had everything we asked for. Definitely recommend checking them out. My favorite is the angel hair pasta with meatballs added.

Favorite restaurant in Kansas City. We got the results of our baby’s gender, and wanted to do something more exciting than opening the email at home. We headed to Garozzo’s for dinner, and asked the waitress if she would be willing to help us by looking at the result on my phone and bringing out a dessert to reveal the gender (pink ice cream=girl, cannoli=boy). She made such a fun surprise out of it and we even got a little t-shirt to bring our future cannoli back in a couple years! Thanks for making our night

My wife and I recently went to Garozzo’s for a birthday dinner. Kate our server was great and very attentive. However, the restaurant has some issues in my opinion. The sangria (both white and red) seemed watered down compared to other places we frequent. The fried mozz was great and the caeser salad was good, if a bit heavy on the dressing. Our entrees were where things really fell apart. My wife ordered Rigatoni Canzoneri. The sauce was good and everything tasted fine, however the dish was warm at best, as though it was prepared and sat for several minutes while the other orders for our table came up. We don’t expect piping hot food, but this was just warm enough to eat.
My issue however was with the ‘Chicken Carbonara’. If you like Chicken Alfredo, you’ll love this. It was not carbonara in any sense of the term. It was simply a creme based alfredo sauce with zero egg. I ate a quarter of the entree and was done. I did not ask if I was served something different accidentally as someone else at my table ordered the same thing and it came out exactly the same way.
Carbonara is a very simple dish that’s difficult to get wrong, however Garozzo’s was able to do so. Impressive.
We will go back, as we enjoyed the service and atmosphere, but we’ll stay away from drinks and certain dishes if they aren’t basic like a pasta and sauce, etc.

They were so amazing here. We surprised my father-in-law for his 65th birthday. He also shares his birthday with my brother-in-law so we were celebrating them both. Our waitress took great care of use and was kind enough to walk us through many things on the menu. It was so delicious. Everything came out hot and super quick. It was a nice quiet atmosphere and very inviting.
