This place used to be decent but not anymore. $26 for 12 dry, over cooked burnt wings. They weren’t even edible. I ate the few I could (4) and tossed the rest. There are so many better options in Union nowadays – eat anywhere else but here.

Not sure how we’re just now trying this place out. If you’re thinking about coming here, don’t think, just go! My husband and I always base the food off of the rice and beans…if that’s good.. guarantee the food is amazing and it was! Jose was great, food came out hot and delicious! Outdoor seating, loves the decor. This will now be our usual spot. Thanks for the meal!

What a hidden gem in Union. Clean, friendly service and excellent food. I didn’t want to post this because I’m afraid it will be overrun. Many restaurants do good in first 6 months then change to less. Torres has done better, especially during these times. Wonderful food and here are some pictures of my favorites. Highly recommended!

This is the best Mexican restaurant around. We have been dining here for 3 years. We found it when we were looking for a Mexican restaurant that would be as good as the ones we are used to in San Diego. This one is it! We love their carne asada taco, flautas, enchiladas, and fajitas. I was so excited when they added chile rellenos to the menu. They are so delicious! Just as I remember them being in San Diego. Margaritas as excellent.

I have been to Torres 3 times. The first visit was great. Great food, service and overall good experience. The 2nd time I went service was not not the best. There were 3 tables and our food took forever and when it came out I was all wrong. I ordered the classic burger (for my kid) and said no tomatoe, no onion, just lettuce and cheese. The burger comes back with double the onions2 tomatoes, bacon and mustard. So while we all ate, my daughter had to wait another 20 min for her food. Also my son’s tacos I asked for no onions and of course a bunch of grilled onions. I took it as it’s just one bad day. Mistakes happen.
Then yesterday I did a takeout order. Ordered burger for my child, again no onion not tomato no mustard, only lettuce and cheese and I get home to find onions, bacon tomato. Seriously like the cooks to take the time to read the ticket. One mistake is acceptable but twice for the same thing?
Also the enchiladas had no flavor. The sauce tasted a bit like the canned spaghetti o sauce but without salt.
Lastly, I placed the order online and did a pick up but they still charged a menu upgrade fee of $5-$6 dollars? I honestly will not be going there anymore. I think staff needs to be re-trained

Great Mexican restaurant, with outdoor patio seating. It’s a bit hidden and off the main road entrance. Food is tasty- We ordered the Tacos de carne asada, quesa birria and chocoflan.

Went after seeing the reviews and pictures.
Excellent service. Great atmosphere.
Ordered fajitas with grilled pineapple. Tasted good. Had to request additional tortillas because they only give you 2. Flour tortillas were standard ones from the package. Corn tortillas were significantly better. Rice was “broken”. If you’re Mexican, you’ll know what I mean. Refried beans were bland. Salsa was underwhelming. EXCELLENT guacamole! So much better than the one where they make it fresh at your table at certain restaurants for a ridiculous price.
I’ll return for the fajitas and guacamole.
