We just ate at torreon, and it, in my opinion, was not worth it. The service is terrible. I had to use the bathroom, and 3 of the waitresses came in, used the bathroom, and didn’t wash their hands. I was shocked they just walked right out. We were seated and given the menus immediately, but nobody came back for 30 minutes. The only reason we got a waitress was because the manager or chef im not sure who he was came to check on our table. He was nice and seemed to care about our experience there. He then sent a waitress to us after being surprised nobody had talked to us. it still took her another 5+ minutes to come over to us after being told to. She took our order, and we literally never saw her again after she dropped our drinks off. We needed water, and again, the only reason we got any was because the manager/chef came to talk to us again. The man who brought us water was rude, and we could hear him and his coworker complaining about bringing us water. When he did bring the water over after complaining, he was so pretentious about it. it was just uncomfortable having someone serve you when you just heard them complain about having to do it. I guess I should have read the other reviews before we went because they are not wrong. The servers are NOT GOOD. The only redeeming thing was the manager/chef, and the food was good. Otherwise, this place sucked the service is terrible. We could hear the male servers talking about us and the other guest too. So again, to sum it up, good food, horrible wait staff. I wouldnt eat here again especially after they didnt wash their hands and hearing the men talking about the customers. Waste of $150 if you ask me.

This was our third Thanksgiving meal at the grill.
It was nothing like the past two. Other than the turkey the food was cold. I told them all the burners were out of fuel and there was no flames
None of the shaving dishes were marked, nor were the pies. We complain to the waitress who said there was no manager on duty. The waitress was great. But the kitchen was a failure.

We were not sure if we were at the right location because there is no obvious signage that you are at the restaurant. We did not have the option of sitting on the patio because that is for members only. They were not busy inside or outside that day. They could have seated patrons on the patio if they wanted to. The service inside was very slow despite the fact that there were lots of employees walking through the restaurant and very few customers. We asked for time to look at the menu (which is small for lunch) and it took our waitress a long time to come back and take our order. The food did arrive quickly. My friend asked for extra mustard and they acted like they didn’t want to get it. The runner brought something else (mayo?) in a cup and we had to ask again for mustard. The club sandwich was very good with excellent bread. The food did not disappoint but the service did. Our waitress did not do a good job following up after the food arrived. The food was great but the service was very much lacking and they weren’t very welcoming to the general public (nonmembers of the golf club). I would expect better service from a high end golf course location.

Food. The appetizer , the soup, and the meal arrived within a minute of each other. I had specifically asked for the appetizer first but received the soup and appetizer at the same time. The meal one minute later.
Soup is too salty. The artichoke appetizer is okay , i was expecting better.
The gravy that came with the pork tenderloin was also too salty as if it came out of a jar.
However, the Tenderloin was cooked perfectly.

They are the best and we always love having them serve us, they are super patient with us and all our kiddos.

Save your money & time, and we are even residents at Torreon. I felt compelled to write this to help someone who is considering dining here. We tried the Wednesday Prime Rib night tonight and ordered the 16 Oz Prime Rib (Med Rare), Baked Potato with Creamy Horseradish. When asked how we would like the Baked Potato, we said fully loaded. I’ll add that we waited 15 minutes before a waiter/waitress even acknowledged us.
Our food came out 40 minutes later! The potato was bleak and lukewarm. No butter. No anything. Fully loaded was fully barren. No Aus Ju or horseradish for the Prime Rib either, and the Prime Rib was actually COLD.. Cold to the touch. The waiter took our plate and came back confirming that it was cold, as did the Chef.When asked if we wanted a new order, we politely declined waiting another 40 minutes, paid for our Coke, tipped the waiter, and left. We felt bad for him that his Cook is serving cold food. Not his fault..

Had Lamb, it was so salty i could hardly taste the meat, the meat itself was cooked very well, but it seriously had more salt on it than a Mcdonalds large fry. My reccomendation, when the meat is cut in smaller pieces like that from the kitchen, you should use a smaller grain salt as well as much less salt, would have made the meal much better. Service was great and the place was fantastic i hope to have a better meal next time I am here.
