Toro y Pampa has a great variety of empanadas at all times. I went and got four different types and absolutely fell in love with the beef and olive. I might be back and just get that. The service was so very nice and friendly. I do wish they had more healthy drink options rather than soda and bottled water, but overall, really nice experience and fantastic food.

Feeling inspired to take a trip to Argentina after my visit. I heard about choripán on TV and wanted to see if Madison/Middleton area had an Argentinian restaurants. Luckily, they do! It’s basically in a gas station parking lot but we all know the best food comes from unsuspecting places. The choripán and chimichurri were absolutely delicious. I also got a hand cut steak empanada. The atmosphere is very Argentina which I love. How can you not appreciate Messi?! They also have Franco Colapinto in their display case! I will absolutely be back to get more choripán and try the mate.

I lived in Argentina from 2016-2018 and this is the best Argentinian food I’ve had since coming home! The food was delicious, the portions were huge, the prices were fair, and the service was excellent. I will definitely be going back!

We just visited Toro & Pampa, the new restaurant in Middleton, WI, and it was an amazing experience. Even though they opened just a week ago, the place already has everything you need for a true Argentine-Uruguayan experience. The owners are incredibly hardworking, cooking and serving traditional food from both countries with real passion.
For the first time in three decades living in the U.S., I truly felt like | was in another country. The food was delicious, portions were very generous ** and prices were more than reasonable. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

We’ve just returned a month ago from a stay in Argentina and missed the food already. What luck to find that the Madison area now has an authentic Argentine restaurant!! The empanadas were great, I particularly loved the empanada criolla. Need to try more of their menu but first impressions are wonderful. Friendly people too! Just give it a try!

Delicious Argentine and Uruguayan food!
We tried the choripán and beef empanadas and both were fantastic. They also sell mate (plus mate cups and bombillas) along with other South American baked goods. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Such a great new spot!

Ordered there twice since they opened, however only one order was fulfilled. Had the sandwich ordered both times, sandwich is delicious steak fries are unseasoned and very plain. Second time I ordered I put in an order they said 10 minutes and I arrive to be told they don’t have my food because somehow they ran out of bread. They’ve been open for less than a week and essential items are out of stock. I wish them the best but I don’t see myself returning considering all they told me was sorry, and that he was going to call as if I wasn’t already there.
