The omakase journey was flawless—each skewer was grilled to perfection over binchotan charcoal, with that unmistakable smoky aroma and juicy texture. A few highlights were the chicken oyster and the liver, both were melt-in-your-mouth tender.
The atmosphere is intimate, dark, and sophisticated, making it the perfect spot for a special occasion with my girlfriend. The service was impeccable and attentive throughout the night. It truly felt like a piece of Tokyo in the heart of NoHo. Can’t wait to return!
And the food… insane. Not one bad bite. Everything was so well done. I also loved the open-kitchen omakase setup — watching them cook everything right in front of you made it even cooler. And unlike a lot of omakase spots, I actually left full. Like, genuinely full — in the best way.
Also, random shoutout to their ceramics — the plates, bowls, cups… all of it. Super nice and added to the whole aesthetic.
Overall just a 10/10 night. Would absolutely go back.
Great job to the entire team!
From the moment the meal began, it was clear this is a team deeply rooted in Japanese craft and omakase philosophy. Every course felt intentional and disciplined, with a strong respect for ingredients and technique. The chicken itself was the star—each cut tasted remarkably clean and pure, allowing the natural flavor to come through without excess. The knife work, preparation, and cooking were consistently precise, showing a level of refinement that only comes from repetition and trust within the team.
Service was seamless and understated, striking that ideal balance of attentiveness without intrusion. The pacing of the courses felt natural and calm, reinforcing the sense that everyone was moving in sync. The drinks were thoughtfully composed and complemented the food beautifully.
A particularly meaningful touch was the team taking a moment to engage with us after the meal. That quiet interaction reflected the hospitality you expect from a true omakase experience and brought the evening to a perfect close.
This is easily the best yakitori course menu I’ve had—on par with, if not exceeding, what I’ve personally experienced in Japan. I’ll absolutely return when I have the chance and look forward to sharing this place with others who appreciate this level of craft.
I was the only one who didn’t order alcohol drink that night and instead, I ordered the tea. Everyone else got their drink pretty quickly and I didn’t get my tea after the first dish was served and I had to talked to the chef (yes, not the server, because I wasn’t able to grab them as they were always serving the other customers) and reminded him that I didn’t get my drink. After I finished my first cup of tea, no one came to check or refill for me until I asked them to; after I finished the 2nd cup, again, no body cares…So, for someone who don’t drink, they don’t deserve a good service?
The ramen had excellent texture and was a great way to end the meal. service was excellent and we ended up very full.
The extra chicken skin skewer was underwhelming and we wouldn’t recommend that again.
