Bakeworks made our dream wedding cake! The cake was included in our wedding package, and we were surprised how good it was!! We got chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. The cake was so moist and the frosting was so tasty, not too sweet! We upgraded our design to a beach & sunset theme. Our guests raved about the cake, and it was definitely a centerpiece of our party. We can’t wait to visit the bakery in person!

I needed a custom cake for my mothers 60th birthday and since we were celebrating it in AC, I needed to find a bakery close by since we live in NY. I stumbled upon this gem from goggle search and I’m go glad I did! The cake was amazing! It came out exactly how I wanted, and they were reasonably priced as well! The cake itself was moist, not at all dry, and tasted amazing! I ordered the Almond flavor cake with their recommendation of Vanilla Cream Filling ( I believe that was the name of the filling). My family kept asking me where I got the cake, everyone enjoyed it, it was that good! Also to top it off their customer service is exceptional! I wish they were in NY so I could order all my special even cakes from them! Kudos to everyone that works at The Bake Works!

Bakeworks did an amazing job with our funfetti wedding cake for our Cape May wedding! It was delicious and beautifully decorated. We received so many compliments on the taste and design! Amanda was also extremely helpful and responsive with answering any questions we had! Definitely recommend this business!

Our wedding cake and cupcakes were absolutely phenomenal. The flavors were unique and delicious, and the presentation was perfect. Amanda worked seamlessly with us when we had to reschedule our wedding, and was available when we had questions. The delivery on the day-of was smooth and set up was quick. We chose this bakery for my daughter’s wedding. However the cake that was delivered was clearly not meant for the number of guests for the reception . There was not enough cake for all our guests at the reception and nothing left. Unfortunately there was nothing we could do once it was delivered to the venue. We made sure they knew the number of guests beforehand.

We got our cake through bakeworks for our wedding at Renault. We upgraded the flavors and got lemon with blueberry buttercream and chocolate chip with cannoli cream! All of our guests have raves about how good the cake was! I cannot eat it myself as I am gluten free but my husband loved the cannoli cake so much. We might have to come back to get some more 🙂 they decorated exactly how we wanted it (simple) so we could use real flowers. I am so happy with the result 🙂

I ordered my wedding cake for my wedding this September 25th, 2022. I was very specific with Amanda and send her pictures of exactly what I wanted (seen below in the first photo). She told me she would be able to do it if I paid an extra $500 for a design fee. I said okay since this was my dream wedding cake..When I walked into my reception, I saw this (picture 2). I was told she would do piped little white buttercream flowers.. in person they were hard candy sugar flowers on wire not even cascading like the picture. I wanted a very specific colored blue flower design to match my bridesmaid dresses and decor and not only were the blues on this cake not matching each other (the crest was neon blue and the flowers were a gray blue)..they weren’t even close to the picture style or color wise. I wanted a tall, narrow cake.. again.. just like the picture. I have voiced to amanda through many many emails what I wanted. To top it off, the cake itself was cream, not white. In the end it didn’t feel like she cared enough to actually listen to what I wanted. If I am paying a $500 design fee, I expect it to be as close to what I wanted as possible. I have since emailed her twice after my wedding and she has chosen to ignore my emails. It was very upsetting to see the day of my wedding. It put a huge damper on my night and I felt embarrassed when my guest walked into the reception hall….and to not even get a response.. awful.
