The Bake Works did an absolutely fantastic job on our wedding cake! We chose a nautical, beach-themed design with special little details to tie in our coastal venue, and they brought our vision to life more perfectly than we ever could have imagined. Every detail was stunning — elegant, creative, and beautifully executed.
On top of looking incredible, the cake tasted AMAZING. We went with dark chocolate and raspberry filling, and it was a total hit with our guests. So many people came up to us to rave about both the flavor and the presentation.
The Bake Works truly made the process easy and enjoyable, and delivered a cake that was everything we wanted and more. We couldn’t recommend them enough!

Our wedding cake from The Bake Works was perfect! It came included with our venue, and we couldn’t have been happier. The cake tasting was a really easy process as well. The cake looked really beautiful and elegant. I liked that it was all buttercream on the outside instead of fondant. It was also incredibly moist and delicious and multiple guests commented to us how great it tasted!

Bake Works did an absolutely amazing job on our wedding cake. Not only was the cake beautiful but it was honestly one of the best cakes I’ve ever tasted. While there was a slight miscommunication over the pricing of the cake, it was quickly remedied and the cake still turned out beautiful and exactly in line with what we wanted.

Had cheesecake and cinnamon rolls delivered from this place for my Mom’s birthday. They were one of the more so delicious preparations I/We have ever tasted. Very well made cheesecake delivered with raspberry sauce and chocolate covered strawberries and cinnamon rolls those that were quite well made – balanced sweet.

What a beautiful store. I discovered this bakery two years ago and whenever I visit ocean city nj, i have to visit this place. So many delightful cupcakes and many varieties of chocolate covered pretzels. My favorite thing though is the cake pops!!! Around 12 different kinds. This is a bakery that you need to go and not far off the bridge that leads to ocean city. I believe one of the owners name is Amy that served me. Very nice, personable and good to talk with. Beautiful bakery!!!

The family got me a carrot cake for my birthday which I really appreciated.
Cream cheese frosting was very good, as good as homemade but the cake was dry and flavorless. I could tell that they were disappointed when they served it and I told them that it was great, even though they did not seem to buy it.
These guys have a great reputation and carrot cake is a pretty standard item. I don’t see how they could miss this one.
At least it will make my homemade carrot cake for Thanksgiving look like a superstar!

We had a great experience working with Bake Works for our wedding cake and desserts! The cake tasting was one of our favorite days pre-wedding, and our chocolate chip cake with cannoli frosting was truly delicious, everyone raved about it. Amanda also worked with me to add in my FAVORITE dessert – cake pops! We had a delicious assortment of cake pops that everyone loved. Definitely recommend!

I normally don’t write reviews but I had to write this one. We had a baby shower for my sister so I wanted a cake to match the theme and be extra special. The cake on the left is the photo I sent them. The cake on the right is the one from the baby shower. It matched beautifully and was perfect. Baked Works did a gorgeous job on her cake and it was absolutely delicious and fresh. I shared a picture of how I would like to look and they were spot on. If you are looking for a bakery to make your day extra special this is the place for you. Tara at Baked Works was so professional and knowledgeable. She was absolutely amazing. Thank you to all the staff for making our day extra special.
