First visit. Loved the food and awesome staff. Vegitarian ramen was good. Also had cauliflower which was good.
There is a parking garage next to it and cost 14 dollars for about 2 hours. There are some metered parking but none was available. I park around brown university for $1.25 and walk about 0.8 miles.

Food was 85% of the way to tasting authentic. Fresh overall. Only knocking a star because I said thank you in japanese and the server looked clueless. Overall, pretty good ramen. Paid $17 with tax. For the portions, I wish it was more on the lines of $12-13, or (if I were in Tokyo, like $4).

Spicy Braised Beef Ramen is okay — not the best, broth is too salty and concentrated. The ramen isn’t the best, I’ve definitely had better ramen. But at least it wasn’t priced too crazy — $16 per ramen. The Kaarage disappointed me though, crazy small portion for $8.50. I wouldn’t come here again, but food was still decent.

Very one dimensional bao bun, could have used a drizzle of some type of sauce and maybe pickled carrots. I also got the itchiraku ramen, I thought it was odd to put so much spinach in a ramen and I think it was shredded up celery on top? Was weird didn’t like it. The broth of the ramen was good, I added black garlic. Eggs were very simple and in my opinion over cooked. The toppings could have been better but overall it wasn’t bad. Just wasn’t good enough to go again or recommend. Lady didn’t refill my water, and didn’t seem very personable for a waiter. Maybe she was new idk

This ramen was so good! My boyfriend and I are ramen loversss and this place was TOO GOOD. Our server was super nice and attentive. I had the malo ramen special (it was the perfect amount of spice for me! usually these places say their ramen is spicy and it never is. i do have a high spice tolerance though) and my boyfriend had the ichiraku ramen. I have no idea on why there’s a good amount of reviews saying the ramen isn’t good because in my opinion it was DELICIOUS and the service was very much appreciated 🙂

I’m only giving this place 4 stars because they removed a special from their menu, the Loco Moco as it was a limited time thing. My girlfriend was absolutely devastated by this news as she loved every bite of that meal and thought it was an amazing meal. She went back to have it several days in a row.
The food here is delicious and whatever you get will be delicious. I like the atmosphere despite the location being small. The employees are friendly and they look like they are on a mission to feed people good food.

Service was very curt, I don’t know if the server was having a bad day. They seemed annoyed with every person that walks in. Who knows. Bless your heart, have a better day. The decor was cute if you’re into anime.
I got the shio chicken ramen and kaarage. The ramen was lukewarm, the broth very much reminded me of instant ramen. Very similar to the Mama brand instant pork noodles. The kaarage was meaty and crispy, but not as tender and melt-in-your-mouth like kaarage usually is. I think they used dark chicken meat for both the ramen and kaarage. I didn’t like it much.
Kinda disappointed, I’d try other ramen places in the area.

Hands down, my favorite place in providence. Hole in the wall restaurant. Great ramen, donburi as well as many great appetizers (karaage, gyoza ect) Staff are always welcoming, and during the cooler days have heat lamps for the outside seating. I also love the fact that they leave chili oil at the tables incase you need more spice.
