I just visited Landry’s Seafood House and had an excellent experience. While walking nearby, we smelled the food and had to stop in. We were served by Kendall (I believe that’s how her name is spelled), and she was very attentive and kind.

We chose the Crawfish Étouffée with steamed rice ($22.90), and I loved it. It was a bit spicier than I expected, but still very easy to enjoy. The portion size was great and perfect to share with my husband. He wasn’t very hungry, and since I’m pregnant and can’t eat much right now, the amount was just right for us.

The bread they served before the meal was delicious, with a light garlic flavor. I tried it with the étouffée, and it was amazing.

Saturday lunch with family for my cousins birthday unfortunately the best immediate thing for the entire table was our drinks. We each individually had overcooked food from shrimp, steak, to salmon. Alongside dishes like gumbo that simply tasted like gravy. Service was subpar the waiter refilled some drinks while leaving others empty throughout the entire encounter. I had to send my first salmon dish back as it was extremely overcooked and I’m still not sure if the croquette contained gluten which he ensured me none of the dish did. My second dish was much better only slightly undercooked. The manager came by and did apologize to us for the inconvenience. Overall great place to go for drinks and a salad wouldn’t go for entrees.

Rudy SR was our server and provided the best service. He was quick, took our photos at the perfect spot on the patio, knew the menu and his recommendations were on point! Love love loved it! The manager Michaela welcomed and seated us with a kind smile. The atmosphere is beautiful with the restaurant being inside of a boat on the water and the service and food matched that energy

PHENOMENAL. Tried the fire roasted oysters, almond crusted mahi mahi, redfish Hemingway, and bananas foster for dessert. Best oysters I’ve ever had. Both fish dishes were perfection. My only complaint about the mahi mahi dish-I wish there was more! So good!! Our server, Marcos, was very kind and provided exceptional service.

My mother and I arrived in Corpus Christi from San Antonio via California for the Selena museums tour, memorial statue, and grave. On the last night tonight we decided to eat at Landry’s Seafood House for some wonderful seafood. When we arrived we were greeted by a nice hostess, and the atmosphere felt cozy and amazing! Our waitress Kristen was an amazing person, and knew exactly all the menu items and had the best recommendations! For us! I ordered the special Almond Crusted Mahi Mahi with avocado, and pico de gallo, freshly made, and it was delicious. My mother ordered the Salmon Melissa, which was also fresh and had amazing flavor. For dessert we tried and key lime pie and the Banana Fritters! Which were to die for! The manager also came by and asked how we loved the food which was courteous and professional. Our waitress Kristen had a great personality and came over to make sure our food got here on time, when in Texas go big I always say!

The hospitality and comfort of the Texans is one thing that I am happy for when traveling, where people are kind to one another and enjoy getting to know and communicate with one another on a personal level. It was by far the best southern hospitality, food, location and people that made it a wonderful experience! If you come to Landry’s ask for Kristen she is the best!

Let me first say that Rudy Sr is amazing. We eat out a lot and all over the United States and Rudy has been one of the best waiters we have ever had! He was very attentive and just an amazing person! He walked us through the menu and gave my wife a lesson on cracking Crab. The food was great but the service was even more amazing. Also, thank you for the Anniversary dessert! We really appreciate it. Protect Rudy Sr at all cost!

The food was great! Whoever was cooking back there made my husband and son’s steaks perfectly rare. My redfish was so good that what i couldn’t finish… my husband and sons did. Our waiter Will was awesome. The restaurant itself was a mediocre fancy. We felt under dressed and perfectly dressed all at the same time. We would eat here again.

Went here with my partner and daughter for her birthday and every thing was amazing! Got the calamari and oysters to start and they were delicious . We split the coastal seafood pasta and I highly recommend it. If you come here, definitely ask for Ben! The service was wonderful. And an extra thanks to Michaela and Chef Ben as well.

I find it hard to believe that Fertitta signed off on this menu, or at a minimum signed off on someone that’s in charge of this menu. The Landry’s name used to mean something more. Highlighting a trash fish like tilapia as your feature is deplorable. Being on the gulf coast and serving farm raised shrimp and catfish is an abomination to the “seafood” industry. I just couldn’t bring myself to order what I would’ve liked to, so I had the seafood gumbo. I tasted butter, burnt flour, and farm raised shrimp. The seafood pasta my wife had reminded us both of Campbell’s canned noodles mixed with mediocre seafood. She ordered a raspberry lemon drop. It was about 3/4 of what it should’ve been in volume, but a decent mix. The positives, and ONLY REASON I’m not giving this a 1 star rating: the oysters on the 1/2 shell were great, and Vanessa as a server was outstanding. I don’t recommend this place, unless McDonald’s is closed.
