Food was excellent. I had the Minnesota salad with no chicken in it. Very good and tasty. My boyfriend had the Ruben sandwich with homemade onion rings. Very tasty with lots of meat in sandwich. Our waitress we had was the best.

Everything looked great. Sadly the ribs were cold when they arrived. Im not being mean when I say the chicken in the salad was warmer. They reheated the ribs and it was to temp, but they was the hardest cutting ribs Ive ever had. They cut hard even before the reheat. The salad was great my fiance let me snack on it while I waited. The steak fries I got with the ribs were not great as well. I did not expect what I got when I asked for it. My fiance said they tasted good, but I thought they tasted like the smell of fish food. As well… they were the crunchiest form of potato Ive had in a while. They could of passed for chips. The waitress was nice and helpful so maybe I will come back. However, I sure wont order the ribs or steak fries ever again.

My family was here from Wisconsin for a gymnastics meet. We were very happy with this restaurant. Everybody had great food. I had the Creole swordfish and it was delicious. Our young waitress Miranda was so polite,sweet and did a great job. Will be back someday.

This was our first time at Toreys since they moved. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. We started with cocktails, which were perfect. I ordered a ceasar salad with shrimp which was a meal in itself. We ordered our steaks medium rare and that’s exactly what we got. We finished our meal sharing a piece of turtle cheesecake. It was heavenly! Our waitress was attentive and pleasant. We left with enough leftovers for lunch the next day. We will definately be going back…soon!

Two of us ordered the Chicken Bacon Swiss Sandwich w/fries, French Onion Soup and Deck Wings.
The Chicken Bacon Swiss sandwich was tasty although needed mayo or ranch dressing. It was served with lettuce and tomato. The chicken was moist and seasoned nicely. The bacon was Smokey and meaty, the bun was soft and the fries were good.
The Deck wings were coated in a tangy Sweet BBQ, real good, deep fried and grilled nicely.
The French Onion soup was delicious. Lots of onions and melted cheese, great tasting broth, a little sweetness. Highly recommend.
Nice selection of tap beers.
The food is priced well, a very good value. The restaurant is comfortable, nicely decorated, well maintained and clean. The bathrooms are very nice and clean.
The downside waited 20 minutes to get the bill. The waitress was not able to multitask.
This is our third visit here and we will visit again when in the area. Definitely recommend Torey’s.

I planned a baby shower all the way from Kansas and only had a chance to visit once before the event. Everyone was wonderful, food was excellent, staff was amazing, such a gem of a place. Will definitely visit anytime I’m in town.

Toreys is a Owatonna staple for a lot of people. I have visited 2 times previous. This has been the experience all three times unfortunately. I ordered a steak and it was supposed to be like filet mignon instead what came out was a rubber like steak with a well over cooked piece of bacon just a strip set right on top of the steak. The rolls outside were so hard and tasted like wet flour on the inside.
I had beef tips from there last time and those were catered so I don’t know how the individual portions are when not catered. They were delicious.
I also had the chicken Alfredo previously that was sort of bland but then again I think chicken Alfredo may be a bit bland anywhere so could be hit or miss.
The ambiance and set up of the restaurant was very nice, the bar was very unique but looked like it had a very large selection.
