This was our first time at Toreys since they moved. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. We started with cocktails, which were perfect. I ordered a ceasar salad with shrimp which was a meal in itself. We ordered our steaks medium rare and that’s exactly what we got. We finished our meal sharing a piece of turtle cheesecake. It was heavenly! Our waitress was attentive and pleasant. We left with enough leftovers for lunch the next day. We will definately be going back…soon!

We were pointed to Torey’s by the Courtyards staff. Good pick. Started with egg rolls. Two of us shared the egg rolls. They were delicious and plentiful. Lots of food. For the entree I had the smothered, Tomahawk Pork Chop. I am not a sweet food guy but I gave it a try. I did eat a few apples but eventually pushed them aside. The pork chop was so tender but under seasoned by itself. I asked the server if I ordered again if I could get the pork chop blackened? She said yes I could have it prepared anyway I would like.

Everything looked great. Sadly the ribs were cold when they arrived. Im not being mean when I say the chicken in the salad was warmer. They reheated the ribs and it was to temp, but they was the hardest cutting ribs Ive ever had. They cut hard even before the reheat. The salad was great my fiance let me snack on it while I waited. The steak fries I got with the ribs were not great as well. I did not expect what I got when I asked for it. My fiance said they tasted good, but I thought they tasted like the smell of fish food. As well… they were the crunchiest form of potato Ive had in a while. They could of passed for chips. The waitress was nice and helpful so maybe I will come back. However, I sure wont order the ribs or steak fries ever again.

Fantastic environment with top notch food, staff, and drinks. Very reasonably price for the quality you get. A must visit in town, haven’t been disappointed by a single item on their menu. A gem in Owatonna.

We celebrated our daughter’s wedding with a buffet reception for 100 guests last weekend at Torey’s. Things couldn’t have been more perfect. The 3 entree option included Burgundy Beef Tips, Lemon Pepper Cod and Cajun Chicken. It was all delicious. People especially loved the beef tips with mashed potatoes. The cheesecake with various toppings and espresso martinis for dessert were also a big hit. We ended the night of dancing with pizza (which I debated for a while during planning) and was really glad we included it.
