Great food and good menu choices. The counter service and cafeteria vibes are pretty mid. The food crushes though. It’s a plus that they have a bar too…frozen margs are pretty tasty. Still pretty pricey for a quick service spot

Pretty good tacos for a chain at a good price point. The beef of a good choice as is the shrimp taco. Portion size is pretty decent, two tacos are definitely manageable. The restaurant looks a bit run down but service is efficient, there is a bar area with TVs screening various games and plenty of customer parking.

Torchy’s is THE best place to go for margs, tacos and queso. Oliver was very friendly and helpful with exceptional service!! Food was hot, fresh and delicious. Highly recommend for a dinner night out.

Excellent experience. I got the fajita taco and a spicy chick taco (I think it was called that)…. They both were so good! They have coloring for kids and the bartender and the gentleman who took our order provided great service. Will go back again soon!

Attention: Mr. Aramis Santiago,

Today, I had the opportunity to revisit Torchy’s Tacos store #139 following a cordial invitation extended by the Managing Partner, Mr. Albert Solano.
This visit marked our third attempt at experiencing Torchy’s Tacos at its finest—and I am pleased to share that the third time truly delivered a helluva experience.

I attended with my foodie-bestie, Ada, and we were personally greeted by Mr. Solano upon arrival. We placed our specific orders, including my necessary request of no onions, which was handled accurately and with care.

My order was served correctly and delivered by our delightful waitress, Eva, who was warm, welcoming, and projected genuine positivity throughout the interaction.

The overall atmosphere was friendly and inviting, clearly reflecting the leadership present in the store. Mr. Solano was attentive, ensured our order was correct, and expressed sincere concern regarding customer allergy awareness and overall well-being. He also shared his commitment to educating his team on ingredient transparency to help prevent accidental allergic reactions—an effort that deserves recognition and appreciation.

In closing, I would like to commend Mr. Solano and his team for providing the excellent experience I had long anticipated from my Lakewood neighborhood location. Through this shared review, I hope to project a positive influence following my less-than-fruitful experiences and reviews regarding previous visits and management.

I fully support this location and wish the team and company continued positive growth and success.

“Kudos” to ALL…

Warm regards,
Mr. Wil

Not sure how this place has such high reviews. As someone who went to the original Torchy’s in Austin this was an absolute miscarriage of the original vision. Ordered the Wrangler and this was just pitiful (see picture). The mashed tater tots.. where are the crispy potatoes? The half portion of basic brisket.. where is the quality beef? The diablo sauce wasn’t Diabolic at all… The egg even tasted basic.

Ugh Denver, get some flavor..

We’ve tried Torchy’s three times now for takeout. The Fajita plate is pretty good, but the fish tacos and shrimp tacos are disappointing. I just finished 2 shrimp tacos that came without the cabbage slaw, and the piece of lime included was too small to get more than 2-3 drops of lime juice. So it was just 5 (pretty good) shrimp, some cotija cheese, a slice of avocado ($.50), and pickled onions. That was it. No cabbage. (I opted not to include cilantro.) The salmon tacos last time weren’t that great either, as the salmon was overdone and dry. Torchy’s is easily accessible off of Alameda Ave with plenty of parking, but unfortunately, we’re not planning to order again.

Started in the area where you select your selection for eating or take out, no one there, moved to bar to ask for restrooms, returned to the 4order area still no one there, others had arrived mentioned the bar attendant was watching TV, they went and asked for service, a gentleman appeared took our orders. Food was tasty, tacos are price each, had beans and rice and grilled shrimp taco, was good, not great.

Since it was good I’m going to try them again.

Post what you find when you visit..

They have great breakfast taco options, and the environment is genuinely enjoyable. The food is consistently tasty, the portions are just right, and it’s the kind of place you can relax in without feeling rushed.

Torchy’s is solid and consistent! Their tacos are pretty substantial and two can be filling… One, if you get a side of guac and queso, both which are creamy and tangy! While Torchy’s has lots of meat options, from pork to chicken and beef… I love it for the 2 vegetarian options. I dont ever tire of fried avacado. Happy hour is the best time to go for a great discount and to try their oh, so yummy margaritas! It’s got a casual vibe, great for large groups too… and a bar area for something more intimate. Service is quick and once the food is ordered, its brought to your table! Hands down, Torchy’s is my go-to place for tasty tacos!
