We love Torchy’s! Their flavorful tacos and fun drinks are a household favorite and we go to this location at least one a month – either via takeout or dine in. There is one bartender who is excellent at his job – I wish I caught his name. He does excellent at making everyone feel like a guest at his table.
Their tacos are super tasty and some pack a lot of heat (so be cautious there). And they feature a limited TOTM (“Taco of the Month”) that keeps their menu as fresh as their food.
And while their food seems to be a little better when dining in (I think it’s the presentation_, their “to-go” team is awesome at packaging tacos to enjoy at home as well!

$20 plus tax for a drink, a democrat (taco), and x2 green chile pork in missionary style.
Food took 10+ minutes. Portions were small, and the food did not look like what I have received at other TTs. GCP-MS Tacos: Corn tortilla was deep fried instead of soft fried. Didn’t know they were supposed to come with tostadas… ?

Torchy’s Tacos in Highland Village off 407 is always a win! Their tacos are delicious every time, and it’s a fun spot to try something new. The fried avocado taco is a must! My only wish is they’d bring back their root beer options, but regardless, it’s always a great experience! P.S make it trashy.

I love this location!!!! Cody, Theo, Alyssa, and Matt are phenomenal bartenders and excellent company 🙂 they always ensure myself and my friends have a wonderful experience. Tim is also excellent, always ensuring that everyone is enjoying themselves and very quick to hop in when needed. If you’re ever in need of a Torchy’s fix I implore you to make the drive to this one.

Aside from the delicious tacos, queso, and margs, the service and experience were incredible. Both our server Jude and the manager (didn’t get her name) were so friendly and hospitable. Not only did they check in on us, but we were also sent an order of churros, which we were very pleased with!

Been here many times. Today, we had a special ingredient added to one of our order. When I brought it to their attention, the manager said “what can we remake for you?” I couldn’t believe she believed we would order something else after seeing this special ingredient. So my response was “what?” Then she repeated the question. “what can we remake for you?” My response was “we are done eating here” then walked away. Not sure what I was expecting them to do but I really didn’t like how the manager responded to the situation. As I stated to the manager, I AM DONE with this taco establishment. I really question how clean they keep their kitchen…

Ruth is the best! She was constantly in and out of the kitchen getting food out to everyone during the dinner rush. She was smiling the whole time and was so friendly! And the bar staff made amazing drinks! The location in Highland Village is the best!
