Lunched twice at Tora. Conveniently located in Piazza Navona district in a quiet niche for a peaceful meal. Multi-lingual Donnie attended to us both occasions with prompt, enthusiastic service.
Our selections were fresh, very flavorful with the right note of heat when appropriate. Sake and ice cold Sapporo beer were perfect accompaniments.
We dined on the following, all delicious!

We had dinner with a prior reservation and were warmly welcomed by Donni, who was also our waiter. He was very polite, friendly, and attentive.
We ordered a few sushi dishes, and everything was very good — the Godfather roll was our favorite.
The only downside was the ramen noodles. They didn’t really resemble egg noodles and felt a bit low quality, although the broth itself was very rich and flavorful. I chose spice level 2, which definitely had a strong kick — great for anyone who enjoys spicy food.

The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, and the food was genuinely some of the best sushi I’ve had, it was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor.
I also want to add that what truly made the night exceptional was our waiter, Donni. He was incredible from start to finish, really friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. He gave great recommendations, checked in at just the right times. His positive attitude and professionalism honestly elevated the entire meal and made me and my fiancée feel welcome.
I’ll definitely be coming back here next time Im in Rome.

I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking good sushi near Piazza Navona. The service is great and the fish is fresh. Donnie, Josyll, and Aiden were so welcoming and made our meal very enjoyable so much so that we returned several times throughout our stay in Rome. I really enjoyed the nigiri. I’m always worried about the quality of the fish when trying a new sushi spot. This place definitely met my expectations. Big thanks to everyone at Tora. We hope to visit again soon!

After a week of indulging in rich, heavy Italian food (not complaining!), Tora Sushi was a refreshing change. The service was exceptional Donny was incredibly friendly and gave us spot on food recommendations. The standout for me was the perfectly cooked miso cod, followed by the delicious banana fritter dessert!

Came here for Christmas Eve dinner with family, and had a fantastic time! The food is delicate and amazingly delicious! The staff are very friendly and especially with kids. Would definitely come again if visiting Rome again!

Hand out this is the best service restaurant in Rome, the staffs is very nice , he make us feel like regular customers already, champagne and coffee on the house it really a plus, the staffs also help us charge the phone too. The food: we order tora ramen and it is so good 10/10

The owner (Max) and staff are incredibly attentive and caring. We came here because we were tired of Italian food after about a week in Italy, and we weren’t expecting much from a Roman sushi spot. My wife and I have had fantastic sushi in San Diego, LA, NYC and this spot really competes! Fresh fish flown in a couple of times every week, traditional items as well as some with an Italian twist. Highly recommend.

If you’re looking for a break from classic Italian pasta and pizza, this is the place to go. Wonderful sushi, this is on par with some of the best sushi restaurants in the states. Service was more than excellent. Our server was attentive and anticipated our needs without asking. Thank you for providing an excellent meal!

We had an exceptional experience at this sushi restaurant! The waiters and the owner were incredibly kind and made sure we felt well taken care of. The food was fantastic — a refreshing break from all the pizzas and pastas in Rome, with high-quality fish and delicious Asian dishes.
