I visited and tried the curry chicken with white rice and collard greens. I give a 2 star because the curry wasn’t seasoned enough, it really didn’t taste like curry compared to other curry chicken meals that I’ve purchased from other local Jamaican restaurants in the area. It reminded of seasoned chicken, but not curry chicken. The greens were soft and sweet and I like a crunchy and savory collard greens. The owners were pleasant and the restaurant was small but clean.

So, this is my second time there. The first time the food was way to salty. My nephew came to visit me from Connecticut and wanted some real Jamaican food. I took a chance on going there again against my better judgment. Damm the food was fire. Nice, well seasoned and rice was Shelly. We ate like kings and Queens. (I only wish they have a one monthly special of serving ackee/saltfish and soup on the 1st Saturday of the month. Hint, hint.) I will definitely be going back.

Tried this place that’s about 17 minutes from the house. The building is small and right off the road, so you’ve got to be careful not to pass it!
Now on to the food — I got the jerk barbecue chicken with mac and cheese and yams, and my husband got the oxtails with greens and mac. My jerk chicken was falling-off-the-bone good! The yams were tasty too. I didn’t really care for the mac and cheese though — it only had cheese on top instead of mixed throughout, and it wasn’t very seasoned.
My husband said the oxtails were okay (he’s had better), but he really liked the greens. He also agreed the mac wasn’t great.
Overall, we’d definitely go back and try different sides next time. Our total came to $41.67 for both plates.

First time eating from this place and I really enjoyed their food. I got the jerk chicken plate, which was very good. Personally, I prefer my mac and cheese more cheesier and creamier but that’s just my preference, the mac and cheese was still very good. They are generous with their portions and prices are good. Order ahead to pick up. It’s small inside but there are a few seats for dining in but not for large parties. Everything flavorful and cooked to perfection, oxtails were flavorful and tender! Fish was delicate and crispy and hot, rasta pasta could have used more chicken, but delicious. We also had plantains, greens, Mac and cheese, rice and peas. ALL WERE BUSSIN’. I hate to share this review but the way the lady in the back cooking was gleaning my feedback on how delicious everything was… I support this business. Update: I’m mad I shared. Now I can’t get a beef patty because y’all tearing them up. Lol

is all I gotta say!! I just had the oxtail meal w/ macaroni & homemade pineapple juice! At first the price threw me off but it was WELL WORTH IT!! Heck I’m trying not to go back and get something else as we speak

I ordered the Jerk chicken pasta and my husband ordered the BBQ Jerk chicken with collard greens, Mac n cheese and a side of cornbread. Taj took very good care of us while we decided what we were going to order. My husbands meat fell off the bone!! Collard greens were so good we will most definitely be coming back to try their Oxtail and Goat! I recommend this place for sure 11/10 thank you to the family at Top Taste Grill for an amazing experience and amazing food!!

Yall!! Why am I just NOW discovering this place?? I had the brown steamed chicken meal with collard greens and Mac and cheese ALL for less than $14!! It was SOOOO much food I will have enough for lunch and dinner tomorrow!! The collard greens were flavored to perfection and had no hard stalks. The chicken was very tender and juicy! I highly recommend !!
