I visited Highway Teriyaki for lunch today and ordered two Teriyaki Chicken burritos. The dining room was clean and well-maintained, featuring attractive decor. The service was efficient and professional; my order, placed over the phone, was accurately prepared, and the individual who assisted me was polite. The burritos were generously filled while containing more rice than chicken, they were exceptionally flavorful. I highly recommend this establishment.

Walk in order. Spicy chicken yakisoba, no vegetables. About $20 with tip. Pretty good flavor, decent portion. Spice level is good but didn’t blow me away. But I’d come back here again, next time i stop by the UPS store next door.

Purchased a stir fry for $6.49. Received the food for take-home. It was WAY OVER COOKED, hard, and burnt tasting. Had the receipt texted and noticed I was actually charged $16.59!! Call the store and spoke to the owner. He just laughed. My advise. Don’t eat here. If you do attempt to eat here make sure you check the prices, document them, and get a PAPER receipt and CHECK IT BEFORE YOU LEAVE!! This owner is a ripoff and cannot be trusted.

I’ve been coming here for years, always supporting this spot and even defending it when friends mentioned the negative reviews. But after today, I can’t anymore. I called in an order for two burritos, came in 10 minutes later, paid $17 like always, and waited. My order was sitting there ready, but the owner insisted it wasn’t mine. After another 10 minutes and watching other people get served, I asked again, this time he claimed I never paid. I showed him the pending charge on my bank account, but he still refused to give me my food. I left without my meal, still charged, and honestly stunned that the owner couldn’t remember a regular who paid him just 10 minutes earlier. I wish I’d asked for a receipt, but I’ve never needed to here… until now. Terrible way to treat loyal customer. I wish I could show a photo of my taste burrito but unfortunately not lol

Takout order of two chicken teriyakis. Bag was very light. Gentleman at the cash register was irked at both the customer before us and myself for adding drinks to our orders.
Overall, flavors were fine but you’re better off buying chicken and cooking it yourself. Basic older crop of rice with a small chicken thigh, if a description matters.

Same happened to me. Overcharged for bad food. There are as many teriyaki places in Washington as there are Starbucks. Don’t waste your time with this place.
