Friday fish fry, my favorite! I ordered the sampler with several seafood types. Highly recommend! Took my daughter there for the first time, she really enjoyed her burger and fries. Despite unexpected issue with the plumbing, the staff that was there diligently worked on a solution. I had to wait awhile on the food but it was excellent and professional. The overall experience was good as always. They eventually closed temporarily, but reopened once everything was back to normal. This may reflect as an updated review and after speaking with ownership, they are top notch and I never believed otherwise.

On New Year’s Day, I decided on pork and sauerkraut for dinner at a respected restaurant along the historic Lincoln Highway RT 30 in Massillon, Ohio, notable for its homemade-style meals, country ambiance, and outstanding service, and a 2025 Stark County Community Choice award recipient for Best Brunch.

This was my first time here and it won’t be the last. What a wonderful place. I had the fruity Belgian waffles. It was the best waffle I ever had. I also had a side of home fries. The portions were generous. Everything was fresh. The other guest ordered the all you can eat fish and loved it as well. Everything was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The atmosphere is wonderful. This place is so clean. You can tell the owners take pride in this place. I love supporting local places. I will definitely back soon!

This is an old school diner. I took my son after a recommendation from a local. It did not disappoint. The wait was minimal. The food was great. He ordered Steak and Eggs. The steak was substantial. We drove an hour home and my son wanted to go back for seconds. The pancake was huge.

Came here with my grandparents on Friday. I ordered the all-you-can-eat fish with 2 sides: french fries and mac & cheese. Great service, relaxing atmosphere, and delicious food. Highly recommended.

Delicious breakfast even though it was busy service was still top-notch! Coffee was really good (I consider myself a coffee snob of sorts ) the omelets were enormous and the waffle was tasty. Prices are good too and you definitely get nice portions. Bomb diggity-doo 10/10

First time eating here, ever, and I grew up 3-4 blocks away!! I “lived” at “The Bottoms” in Jr. High (40+ yrs ago) and never ate there. They have always had a great reputation.
I gotta admit, a lot better than I was expecting!! Newly remodeled and looking like they are ready for another 50 years of success!!
Portions are large.
I like my omelets loaded with the ingredients into the egg. For a “folded omelet,” the egg was fluffy, but the meat and veggies just fell out.
Corned beef hash was a stretch for me. The meat itself was what it was. I struggled with the use of shredded “hash browns” over using the delicious fluffy hash browns/home fries that came with my omelet. It was dry on dry. I’ve definitely had worse, and it wasn’t canned!!
The Carmel Apple French Toast thingy… yeah… Home Run!!
Service was spot on. Attentive, conversational, and pleasant. She seemed to enjoy her work!
The renovations are beautiful! Very cosey atmosphere!!
My uncle got the Country Fried Steak. I will return and I will order that!! It looked amazing!!

A great old style diner. The breakfast offerings are standard but good. I ordered the chicken fried steak. The meat and gravy were very good, over easy eggs cooked to perfection, and a heaping helping of hash browns, all tasting great. Service was also very attentive. My wife had French toast. The plate was empty at the end of the meal so I think she liked it. : )

It was only my 2 and time there, the first time we did breakfast, it was great. This time we did lunch and it was just as good as breakfast. Would highly recommend it. There usually is a little wait, which is a sign of how good it is, but it’s only been a matter of minutes both times. Highly recommend to try if you haven’t.
