Today we had lunch at Top of the Rock Restaurant and Brewery. The view was stunning. The restaurant was bright, warm and welcoming. I had the shrimp and grits which was very good. My hubby had the breakfast burger that was huge and had to be smashed down to eat. He said it was very good. I’m sure it’s very beautiful in the spring, as well. If you visiting in the area, I recommend stopping in.

Wonderful experience and we will be back!! Our server, Nicole, gave us some excellent tips and recommendations for the chicken, fried chicken and Hawaiian ribeye. Afterwards, we got the fresh baked chocolate chip cookie as a perfect ending. We got to catch the sunset views which were absolutely stunning!!

I chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday back in January and it exceeded every expectation. Dining in the igloo tables during sunset was such a magical experience — cozy, private, and absolutely beautiful. The service was wonderful, the food was delicious, and the dessert was absolutely fabulous. The entire atmosphere made the night feel so special. Highly recommend for celebrations or a memorable night out!

Food was at best, just okay. Way too expensive for what you get. Didn’t get to sit outside. The hostess assured us it would take hours to be seated outside, so we opted ro be seated inside. 30 minutes later there were several tables outside. Our waiter had too many tables on him, so he was slow at checking on us. Glad for the experience, but won’t be returning.

Giving this place 2 stars because the food was so bad (and expensive for the cheap quality). We ordered a basic brunch dish and a salad with chicken. The chicken on the salad tasted like fish so badly that I questioned if I got the right protein. The breakfast dish was over salted with terrible tasting scrambled eggs and overcooked chips (supposedly home fries). We did mention all issues to the manager and he was understanding and comped some items.

On the other hand the views are beautiful but only if you’re seated near them close enough to enjoy. The patio had a handful of people out there with plentyyyy of open tables yet we were told we couldn’t sit there. It wasn’t busy at all. We watched other people come and sit more inside as we did but quickly got moved outside anyway. It seemed odd to us and was a bit upsetting as we came hours away for brunch with a view.

This is an amazing restaurant. I took my wife for an early Valentine’s brunch, and we enjoyed our entire experience. We made a reservation, and our table was available upon arrival, our service was great, the food was well priced for the amazing quality and huge portions, and our drinks were delicious. I tried a flight of beers, and I loved their seasonal porter, the red ale, kolsch, and IPA.

This was a great experience, and we look forward to coming back.

Heading home from Chattanooga and needed a place to eat that wasn’t a chain or something we have experienced before so we stopped at Top of the Rock Restaurant and Brewery. We were pretty impressed with the atmosphere and the overall quality of the food, but the biggest highlight for me was the service. Its become so hard to find good service post 2020, and when I experience it, I brag about it. Waitress was kind, welcoming, prompt, attentive, and just a pleasure to have as a server. I rate my quality of service on if my drinks ever go dry for long periods of time. My soft drink was never empty. The food was very good, we had the smash burger and it was easily in my top 5 best burgers ever tasted. We ordered some pizzas to go and while they were good, it was odd to order a Chicken, Bacon, Ranch pizza made with a base red sauce when normally you would expect ranch to be the base sauce. That was the only odd thing we can shrug on though. Overall experience was great and will definitely be heading back in the future.

We sat on the deck leading to overlook and igloo area. View is quite nice. We went on a cold day so I wore my coat the whole time. Fish and chips were pretty good with the chips being hand cut fries cooked crispy. My husband likes wheat beer.

Just visited this restaurant today. My family and I drove an hour to get here, so we were all excited. Unfortunately the food was not good.. I ordered a grilled chicken salad and the chicken did not appear to be grilled, rather it looked to have been boiled and had NO seasoning other than a sprinkle of paprika. Another family member order the biscuit and gravy meal only to receive maybe a spoonful of gravy, egg was overcooked, and the potato discs were greasy and rubbery. The view and restaurant itself are very nice, but the food was unacceptable for the price. Very disappointed. We left and ate fast food lol

Ariel was very polite and answered all our questions about the menu. It was our first visit, for our 18th wedding anniversary. We appreciated Ariel asking Stephanie to tell us about the view and where AL, GA and TN intersect and where we could go to see it up close. We overheard Stephanie telling the table next to us, and Ariel asked her to come tell us when we asked.
The food was delicious!! We loved the artichoke/Spinach dip bread bowl that Ariel recommended. We will be back!
