If the parking lot is completely full, don’t let it deter you. This restaurant runs like clockwork, they have plenty of wait staff and the food is fantastic and worth the wait.
When you sit down, you automatically get the best coleslaw and cornbread that you have ever tasted with a side of pickled onions. I don’t even like these things but I eat my portion here.
My favorite.
The Riverboat Special is a generous portion of perfectly seasoned and cooked catfish, fries or baked potato and hush puppies. This is a great shareable for two. I can never eat it all and end taking some home.
The menu has an extensive list of seafood cooked anyway you want it. There is also grilled chicken fingers that are well seasoned and juicy. The steaks are as good as served at a steak house.
Your drink glass is so large you shouldn’t need a refill, they don’t really offer dessert and coffee, and this place is huge, so if you have a large party and want to eat here, don’t hesitate. They will be able to seat you in a reasonable amount of time.

If it could give 10 stars to this restaurant, I definitely would! The service, the atmosphere is fantastic!! The food? I can’t describe how delicious it was! I love ❤️ fried food, i know,i know it’s bad for you, but you have to come experience it for yourself. The server came and checked on us at least 5 times! I had fried shrimp and chicken Fingers, we had crab cakes, fried catfish, fried pickles and slaw, corn bread, brought to our table in the cast iron skillet! I can’t guarantee that this place will be what.you are looking for, but, from my experience, I am going to say you will love it too!! Nuff said..

The food was not bad, it was edible and it filled me up, but In my opinion, the ribeye steak was over cooked, the corn bread was huge and tasteless. Don’t still understand why I was given onions on the side, never asked for them and wasn’t told it came with the steak, to me the onions were just a waste. But the main thing that disappointed me was the cheesecake with “strawberries” on top. There were no strawberries, just a watered down strawberry glaze. It tasted good, but it was runny and not 1 strawberry. Like I said the food was edible, it tasted good, but it was NOT worth $50.

Great place for families to eat. Good size portions. When you have four or more people you automatically get cornbread and cole slaw.

We were on our way to New Orleans for a cruise stop by Gadsden to stay the night my wife found this restaurant on line and I am glad she did. Great seafood and fast and friendly service. The picture is the starter they bring out to your table as you wait for your food. Definitely recommend if you’re not in a hurry and have time to stop by while traveling through Gadsden Alabama.

First time eating at location and not impressed. Catfish had gray pieces and tasted like mud. Slaw was very good

♿️ Accessibility is fantastic and the wheelchair ramp is not angled too high to maneuver up or down on your own or with help.
The food is incredible. I got the fried shrimp and hand cut fries. Hushpuppies were included and delicious.
Before you begin, they bring tin plates, cornbread that is piping hot and coleslaw (sweet, not vinegar based) and pickled onions. It’s all fantastic.
Our food came out fairly quick, bc they were still almost a full house at 45 minutes to closing time. We had an excellent server with a very welcoming and friendly attitude. Customer service was amazing. I wish I had gotten her name.
The prices haven’t gone up too much, which surprised me. Especially for all the food you receive and how good it is.
I recommend going during the day, so you can see that you are on the river. You can even walk down the deck and feed the fish with your kids.
The catfish is recommended and so is the shrimp. I’ve eaten there several times and get that every time. I can’t see anyone disappointed with either of those 2 items. The cocktail sauce tastes homemade, I’ve never asked, but everything there is and you can taste the difference.
Will return, as its one place I know is consistently good every single time.

I’d never been to this restaurant. Many said it was good. I enjoyed who was there with us but I’ve been there once, that’s enough.

The best catfish restaurant in Alabama!!! Our server provided excellent service and was very attentive. The food came out in a timely manner despite the restaurant being packed. Each dish was prepared well, and everything tasted delicious! Highly Recommend
