Good place to dine, especially if you like seafood. My husband really liked the catfish. My chicken fingers were tender and crunchy but I didn’t like the sauce that came with it though. Complimentary coleslaw and cornbread is a nice touch. Coleslaw is some of the best I’ve had. I was disappointed in the fries; they tasted old and they were not hot. Gilbert is a good waiter; serious about his job, focused, and attentive. Restaurant is spacious. I suggest getting there about 15-30 min before it opens.

As always, This place never disappoints!! Once you sit down your asked about you drink choices then comes a small skillet of cornbread, coleslaw and pickled onions . By the time you get your main meal…your already full !!!! The River Boat Special is my go to. Fried Catfish with hush puppies and your choices of baked potato or fries. The staff are quick with refills and very courteous.. I have always loved coming here !!

Excellent meal shared with friends. Our wait on a Saturday evening at 4:45 was less than 15 minutes. Everyone enjoyed their food and service was great. Since we’re from out of town, we can’t visit very often, but I do recommend Top of the River.

My husband and I went there for Date night, we live in GA. We drove over just to go eat there and the food was delicious as always. The waitress was friendly and the food came out fast and hot and fresh! We were seated by the window by the pond. I love the view

Love this place especially the slaw, onions, cornbread, and greens. I had the chicken kabobs with the dipping sauce which was delicious, and my husband had the fisherman’s platter. Yummy!! Golly gee….!!! Listen…before your meal, they bring you cole slaw, cornbread and pickled onions ((order the turnip greens))….Just Sunday, sit down kind of food. Know this, the main dishes are mostly fried but, you know this now. (P.S.- other options available-broiled, grilled or such) Ha.. From seafood, to chicken, to what makes them famous… Catfish. Good, American raised catfish. The only thing better is your next bite… have visited all of their locations. Never disappoints. Service has always been like their food…Very good…!!
