recently ordered two chicken salads, but when I got home, I was disappointed to find that the $27 I paid was largely for lettuce and toppings, with barely any chicken. I expressed my concern that the salads contained very little meat, the representative revealed that they had only two pieces of chicken left. I believe it’s essential to communicate with customers about any limitations or issues with their orders. In this case, the store should have informed me about the chicken shortage, allowing me to choose alternative options on the menu.

The woman who takes the orders obviously doesn’t like her job. She has an attitude and isn’t very pleasant. It was my first time going in there and it will be my last. Gets mad at you for asking basic questions about the menu. On to the food. While it was made fresh to order, they forgot to season my food. Which is odd because they have an entire shelf of seasonings that are clearly visible. Also the peppers and onions that came in my potatoes, completely overwhelmed them. I’m unsure how they have good reviews from others. It must be family and friends. Other people I’ve talked to have had very similar experiences with the lady at the counter. GET A NEW JOB

I can’t give 5 star because it’s not there. The food is wonderful. The owner she is terrific. There is always the same man just hanging out in the eating area. The girl at cashier always on phone. Self serve coffee is great although last two times lacked and creamer. The breakfast food is huge. The seasoned burger meat outstanding.

They are top notch food always fresh I have never had a bad meal from them and always hot and fresh. You can tell they care about people because they cook their food as if they were cooking for their own family. Their gold sauce is the bomb. Definitely your money worth. Went to the new location. This is just great. I love the shrimp and grits. Grits cooked the way they should be. You just don’t find this cooked right anywhere else in this area. Last time I had grits this good I was living in Atlanta. The French fries are carnival goodness. Keep up the great work Vershanda. Can’t wait till you expand the menu to include other deep south soul food. Also the staff are all friendly and great to be around. The soup was wonderful especially on this very cold day. Make sure to check out this awesome place that will most definitely remind you of your grandmother cooking. Simply put, Vershanda and staff are doing it the right soulful way.

The salmon patties were over cooked and the in house service was poor! We sat down to eat, and no one came to our service. We had to go to the front counter and tell them everything we wanted. We had to ask for any condiments that we wanted. It was worth a try, but we will not be returning!
