Came in for lunch. Had the BLT, a salad and app combo. Everything was good. Just didn’t enjoy the combo since they was out of marinara sauce for the cheese sticks. Our server did offer different options. Also the chicken tenders was really hard. Other than that everything was good. Esmeralda was a great, friendly server. She was on top of refill and everything.

We had a good time at Top Notch. The big thing that gets high marks is the affordability. Their skillets are less than $15 for the meat, extras, 2 eggs, and a bread side. A good stop if looking for breakfast food if in the area.

I got a brisket cheese wrap! It was falling apart not staying together. The brisket had no taste to it. The fries werent salted. They were really tough. I was recommended this restaurant by family because they liked it. I thought it really wasn’t that good as they said it was. This is by far the worst brisket I’ve ever had. I would 110% not recommend this item on the menu.

Great place to take the family. We found this place on accident a year ago and now it’s a must stop any time we’re in the area. The food is good the portions are generous and the service has been outstanding every visit. I couldnt get my coffee below half before our server was topping it off again. Your people are exceptional.

Typical diner experience. Very glad we didn’t listen to China’s review (she was the top one). The chicken fried steak was delicious (not too much breading and the right amount of gravy – she must have had an off day haha). Flavorful, and the gravy is obviously one of the packets doctored up, but it was done right. Not gritty, not too salty, and not too much on the plate. I got a half order of biscuits and gravy and the biscuits were light and fluffy. Just a lowkey spot for GOOD diner food! Glad we stopped for breakfast.

This place had phenomenal food and service and was packed when we went! You can tell it’s a favorite with locals and I’m glad we found it while traveling! The Gypsy Skillet was amazing and the Belgian waffle with strawberries was to die for.

Wanted to take a moment and let the world know how great Top Notch is. Location alone you can not beat being across from the airport. You won’t find better quality breakfast spot in the area. The owner cares deeply and you can tell from how tight ship is run. The staff is friendly and on point. The dining room is beautiful atmosphere with a very classy feel. Nice open clean spaces restrooms are immaculate and smell fresh and clean. Food was amazing from the signature pancakes too the hamburgers and everything in between this is the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat before or after a flight or just a regular day in the South Bend area. Highly recommended.
