As a huge Top Gun fan who was visiting the area, I knew that I had to drop in and try this restaurant, and I’m so glad I did! The atmosphere is amazing, the staff is wonderful, especially our server, Tyler, and the food is amazing and came out quickly! Plus, the view is stunning! I was able to sit on the back patio, which overlooks the airfield with a remarkable view of Mt. Rainier in the background and watch the planes come and go. I don’t say it lightly when I say this has become my new favorite restaurant, and I look forward to any opportunities I’ll get to come back to the area to visit it! Highly, highly recommend!!

We had a fantastic time meeting with some friends from out of town for dinner and drinks. The waitress was friendly and fast service. They had a trivia night. It was so much fun. I recommend coming out for food or entertainment. They also had a huge screen for sports games playing if that’s your thing. On nice days you can sit outside and watch the planes( my favorite)

We had a blast playing trivia (Harry Potter) . A little tough to get a table. Most likely because the trivia is popular here. The burger and fries were delicious . The fries were delicious because they were steak fries not seasoned fries. We joined friends at another table so we didn’t get to have a server. But the guy that served the other people seemed to do a wonderful job. Not too bad of a price. The price was fine because the burger was very good. The bun on the burger was toasted and was actually good. The atmosphere here is wonderful and even though it was night time I enjoy seeing the air planes. This place has a jukebox, a pool table, some video games, dart boards, and lots of pull tabs. You can get drinks and breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Top Gun sits next to an airport and a beautiful view of Mt Rainier. They are busy every time I come because of the great food. So be patient. It’s a place to spend time with your friends and not rush through a meal. I always enjoy the burgers, but other food on the menu is worth a try, too. The ice tea is refreshingly fresh brewed. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Love the atmosphere of watching the planes come and go.

It was our Monday date-day, and we were out and about within the general area, so we decided to stop through Top Gun for a late lunch. With a typical modern bar vibe along with a stage for music, the indoor aesthetics were nice enough, but the outdoor patio with the airport view was something unique and special. The staff was friendly as we looked over their menu. Again, it is a typical modern bar menu with the usual items such as fried appetizers, sandwiches and burgers, salads, and soups. We decided to try their cob and chef salads and a side of Buffalo hot wings. Watching the pilots fuel their planes as other planes were taking off and landing kept us entertained until our food arrived , and they arrived in a short manner. The salads were solid, nothing to complain about, and the hot wings were just as we’d expected with a nice kick with a side of blue cheese dressing to balance things out.
All in all, Top Gun Bar & Grill was a fun experience, especially on that beautiful sunny day, and I would recommend stopping through to give it a try.

Cool little bar and grill where you can watch prop planes landing and taking off. Very much a hometown vibe, bar tender was super attentive and everyone there made you feel like you were home. You can get a burger and fly for a little over a hundred. Didn’t this trip but maybe next. I will definitely be returning next time I am in Puyallup WA

Consistent great menu, fun atmosphere, outside dining is available to watch planes come and go along with a Beautiful mountain view! There is a small outdoor section for smoking/vaping with some fun games and an airport seated view bar. Service is great and accommodating but it can get really busy at times.

Great food with fresh ingredients. Haven’t been here for the nightlife yet but was a great place for lunch. Good portions, great taste, mellow vibe. Lots of light with a view of the runways. Will be coming back often!! I’m looking forward to trying everything on the appetizer menu. Loaded potato skins were awesome!
Update: went again on a Saturday night. Was a great mix of activities and was getting more active as the night progressed. Turns out it was karaoke night but they played dance music between people so the DJ was able to cater to a wide range of activity levels. We ordered the chicken street tacos(mild spice, great flavor) and a BLT sandwich(thick cut crispy bacon). Both were great! Service was super friendly both bars were open so you didn’t have to wait very long for anything. Just remember the entrance is on the right side of the building when pulling in from the traffic light. The other doors are exits.

I really enjoy this place. The food is consisrently good and made with fresh ingredients. The servers are pleasant and accommodating for reasonable customers. As far as vibe, I just love the crossroads you get at small airport diners and bars. Everyone is relaxed, doing their own thing, and just enjoying life.
