Man, this dude is awesome!!! I love coming here and getting hotdogs, brats, or sausages like I was going to the ballpark up North! The community loves this gentleman as well. You can hear the happiness as people shout hi to him from across the street. The food is fresh, he keeps your order memorized, and he’s QUICK!!! Way faster than most fast food places, and WAY BETTER! I love this man and his food! I drive 3 hours just for one of this man’s hot dogs, and it was absolutely worth it. His food has a special kind of magic that’s very hard to find anymore. The friendliness and kind-hearted nature of Mr. John “The Hot Dog Man” makes the experience even better.

Had my girlfriend order for me since I had no shirt or shoes on. She gives him my order and as he goes to put something on it that wasn’t wanted she says “no pickles please” and his response was “since he didn’t get out the car I’m going to put pickles on it” blatantly getting the order wrong and wasting everyone’s time. As I take it back he completely disregards professionalism and tries to make a joke and asked “if I’ve ever tried it”. Do not recommend and we will not be back. Way to lose a customer.

We got a hotdog for my daughter but I love them from here too. He always does a great job and he’s efficient and kind. He’s always got everything set up neatly and everything is kept good and clean. Love a good beef Nathan’s hotdog. ❤️

Came off of the AT at Springer Mountain in GA and arrived at the parking lot starving. Top Dog’s was there and made us some of the best dogs I’ve ever had. The bread and the toasting of the bun in combination with the house made mustard and pickled onions. WHOA. Complimentary dogs in the parking lot when you least expect it….Major community service and all around Top Dog move. Thank you immensely for your kindness and the full bellies that day 🙂 I will stop anytime I’m passing thru.

This hot dog stand foots the bill perfectly when you want a freshly grilled hot dog.. bratwurst or mettwurst and Italian sausage.. different kinds of mustard and condiments too. And those buns heated on the grill… perfect!
