With a very warm and welcoming family style restaurant be assured that you will feel at home and become part of the family as you are treated to a wonderful pallet of high quality food for a great price. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and fun to interact with. While you wait for your entre food to be served, enjoy your appetizers, salad and bread while you wash it down with your drinks. Located near the water enjoy beautiful views just outside of the restaurant. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have a great family style meal. I Can’t wait to go back to enjoy another course.

Probably the best food value in the area. Food is superb, staff friendly and experienced and prices are best value for money in NY area. Try whole grilled Barramundi for a dish that only can be duplicated by traveling to Portugal.

Tony’s apparently is an institution. I’ve only been going there for a few years after I recently moved into the area. But over the past few years the food has been consistently good. Don’t expect Peter Luger’s steak, but dont expect Peter Luger’s prices either. Dinner and Drinks will run about $30 – $40 per preson. The place reminds me of an italian restaurant from my childhood, complete with smart-ass waiters (they don’t charge for that!). The food is an interesting mix of Italian, Portugese, and American. Since I live in Riverdale (in The Bronx) I don’t get to Tony’s as often as I’d like, but I look for excuses to go to Tony’s whenever I can. This is my family’s de-facto “birthday dinner” spot.
