Just tried Tony’s Pizza Palace in Elgin at their new location and it did not disappoint. I got a 10 inch pepperoni pie and it was really good. The crust was crispy and the pepperoni had great flavor. Simple, classic pizza done right. I’ll definitely be back to try more.

Thought we would try here at their new building. Walked in and all the employees were gathered at the counter. We were told to sit where ever we wanted. Fine, but trying to find a clean table was not easy as a lot of tables had not been wiped off. They were not busy and only maybe one other customer there. We stayed and ordered subs with fries. Took a long time to recieve our food. Onece it arrived the subs were ok…but mine was burnt on the end. The fries were barely warm and not cooked quite all the way. It was cold inside almost as cold as the outdoors. We left disappointed. Funny as we got in our car…it was much warmer than the resturant . We won’t be back…feel sorry they built this nice building and can not have clean tabels and only mediocre food.

Great environment and super clean place to meet some friends and chill. Bar is nice and they have several taps to choose from. Food is great and you can taste the talent in the kitchen. Pizza is great, cheesesteak is awesome and the antipasto salad is the bomb. Thanks again for the great lunch.

Utterly incompetent. Went to their location, placed an order to go. It took them over an hour to fulfill the order. Tables came in after our order, ate their food, paid their bill and left before we got our food. Once we did get it, we immediately noticed a pizza missing. Some how they had completely forgotten it. Waited another 20 minutes for the missing pizza. Came home, found two other food items also missing (an appetizer and a sandwich). The cook staff is completely unable to fulfill an order. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Hopefully some day they’ll care about their product.

Waited 30 minutes after order was supposed to be ready. Owner never apologized handed me my food asked for an apology and he asked me if my day was really that bad that I would complain about food. Well yes after spending over $60 at his business. Maybe working in hospitality is just not for him? Idk maybe he was having a bad day?

We decided to try a recommended restaurant for lunch today. I checked the food grade and the menu and it passed the safety pre-screen.
While rating these dishes, the thought process is 1. How did it thoroughly taste? 2. Would I come back for just this item alone? 3. How often would I come back to this place for that item?
So, at first sight , you would not expect this place to be all that great. On the contrary , when you taste the Garlic Bread with Cheese and marinara, you instantly know that somebody is back there using fresh vegetables ! The bread was soft, but crunchy, the cheese ratio was superb, and it was definitely pleasing to the palate! A+
We also ordered the Teri-Hot Wings. My wife is not a big fan of sauces that make the wings soft. These wings were not that. These wings were crunchy and sauced. The spice was not overbearing. So it was a smooth flavor and a taste bud tickler for sure. A+
Now, for the pies! One pizza was the Santorini Veggie pizza. This pizza consisted of ricotta, tomatoes , spinach, eggplant , garlic , and spices. After tasting the marinara, the mindset has automatically set the standard to be a tastebud party. Well, sadly, this party brought the decorations, but forgot about the music, snacks, beverages, and games! This pie lacked a bit of seasoning on the eggplant. The amount of seasoning used for the marinara was not present with this pizza. C+
The second pizza was the Tony’s Combo Pizza. This pizza consisted of chicken , black olives, feta, cheddar and mozzarella blend. In my opinion, this pizza had a nice flavor combination. The chicken, feta, and olive combo provided a smooth vinegar feel, carried by the pizza sauce, lightly flowing on the palate. Using the marinara in the pizza definitely enhanced the experience. B
In conclusion, I would certainly come back for the Garlic Bread with Cheese and The Wings!

Pizza bottom was soggy and not cooked completely. Parking lot has huge whole which made my van bottom out coming off the blacktop. It is NOT handicapped accessible. 4 inch doorstep to get in the door. I am in a wheelchair so ended up doing delivery. Delivery driver was very nice and friendly.
