I have never been disappointed by there food before. I have traveled to come and get this pizza for me to be sitting here staring at this like it just ruined my childhood. I told them 3 time I don’t want pizza that had been sitting out al for her to tell how fresh it is. Yep it’s cold on the middle and the crunchiest pizza i have ever had.

I would give this establishment a 3.9 barely a four. The atmosphere isn’t as inviting and while I’m not sure if it’s the decor or therefore lack of but puts you in a lazy or darker mode. Being said, that did not take away from that fact that the service provided was very nice. The cooks or manager offered me a service free of charge and was very kind to slice up the pizza in extra pieces for the children in our group. The price for one slice of pizza is 4.25-4.75 however for what you get, it is worth it in my opinion. The cashier doesn’t offer any smiles upon entry and forgets to ask whether the meal is to go or to stay. The establishment is hidden and easily forgot about as it’s right at the entrance of the mall . I would suggest more coloring to catch people’s interest.

Pizza is the best! I alway see the owner, I am assuming, big man working, making the pizzas. He is pleasure to deal with. There was someone new to me taking orders. I live about an hour away, but always stop for their pizza cause it’s so good. She was lacking personality and people skills. But I can over look due to the food is so good and the owner/manger ? Is the best.

I live in New Bern, but always pick up a pizza from Tony’s when I’m in the area. Hands down one of the best NY style Pizzas I’ve had. Crispy, greasy, great sauce. Just the way it should be!

Tony’s has always been the place to get pizza in Jacksonville. I now live in Raleigh and when we come back to visit we try ro come here. This visit was horrible. The girl at the register was rude, the pizza was burnt. When I complained they offered to remake it but we had already wait so long it wasn’t worth waiting longer.

This pizza used to taste almost as good as NY but now, they skimp on the cheese, missing olive oil and the sauce gets dried up as the small amout of cheese is over cooked taking all moisture out of the cheese it turns into plastic. One one cook makes it taste delicious. I end up throwing the dried out lack of adequate cheese, sauce and oil. Im from NY i know exactly how NY pizza is supposed to taste. Please go back to the way you used to make all the pizza from slice to the pie. It will increase your revenue.

Grew up in Jacksonville and now live in GA. Tony’s was and still is the best NY style pizza I have eaten. And I’ve been to NY. We make a point to eat here at least once and sometimes twice every time I go home to visit

I ordered takeout via Grubhub:

Cheese slice
Chicken salad /w Caesar Dressing
Tiramisu
Sweet tea

Cheese slice and Chicken Salad were fantastic, no complaints. The olives and banana peppers were a little surprising in the salad but worked really well.

The ONLY reason they lose 2 stars is because their “Tiramisu” was terrible. I put it in quotes because it was literally a layered yellow cake with cream. Tasted nothing like a tiramisu. No ladyfingers. No coffee flavor at all. Just a glorified yellow cake with cream. For $4.25 a slice, that’s a ripoff especially since it’s not even what it claims to be. Honestly was a great meal overall before I opened dessert. Not sure if that’s the norm at this location, but for the sake of Italians everywhere at least rename it.

Just watched an employee stretch a pizza dough wearing a bracelet and a digital watch. Seeing that pressed through the dough and knowing how nasty jewelry is, Id personally never eat there. Try wearing gloves if you have to wear accoutrement.
