Just had the grilled chicken sub at Tony’s Pizzeria in Morris Plains and it was excellent. The chicken was grilled perfectly and the sub was fresh and delicious. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for a hearty and tasty sandwich. This place has a great, classic Italian pizzeria feel, and it’s clear why it’s been a local favorite for so long!

I ordered food on Saturday night for 175 dollar which included 6 orders of penne pasta. I came home and opened the bag to find only 4 orders of pasta. I called and confirmed the person who packed my order and they confirmed that they will an offer a refund to be picked up the second day since they are about to close.
Manager called by noon saying that the order is ready and I explained that I was offered a refund. unfortunately the manager was so rude and said u can only pickup food not money so I let it go.
I just wanted to share my experience. I am not going to go to this restaurant again.

Original ownership is back!!!! We arrived to a warm greeting from the owner who not only remembered our names, but our favorite orders. Tony’s is more than pizza, their food is great.
Welcome back to Morris Plains, we have missed you!!!

I have tried a lot of pizza places in Morristown / Morris Plains area, and if I rank them, then this would come in the last place. My only complaint is the pizza itself. It was lacking the texture and felt too salty. The flavor was also inconsistent. So overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Great pizza in morris plains. Staff is really nice and inviting. We just stopped in for a couple of slices and will come back. Nicely thin crust, crispy and chewey in all the right places. The sauce and cheese ratio is perfect for my taste too . Parking is real easy behind the building.

We ate at Tony’s for many years, back to when Tony owned it- even used them to cater for a party. Went back recently and saw the “new/original”owner. It was about 8:20 pm and he was seated at a table. We greeted him, welcomed him back, and he saw we had a bottle of wine, and said, ‘don’t get yourself comfortable, I close at 9 now’. We looked at each other and said, ‘no problem We’ll go someplace else’. Won’t be back.

My family has been eating at Tony’s for thirty, if not forty years. It’s exactly what you’d expect from an authentic pizza place named Tony’s. Excellent pizza and friendly service. Paper placemats with a map of Italy let you know you this is the real deal. Updated chairs are comfortable. The lightweight inexpensive silverware is strangely familiar. Stare too long at the to go box and your mind will surely wander off to a place where pineapple on pizza is an insult.

They don’t just have pizza though. When my famz introduced me to their menu, I was overwhelmed with options. The awesome thing is it seems they have everything you could think of. If it’s not on the menu, I bet they’d make it for you.
I love pizza! This time, however, I opted for a different plate – chicken & eggplant parmeggiano. The flavor was actually pretty good! I loved the crisp of the eggplant and how it was sliced thinly then layered.
Our orders were for pick up. When I thought I’d have time to do some work, the food was already ready. That’s fast HOT food! Big compliments to that, especially during dinnertime.

Did not have a Great slice of Pizza during my visit to Tony’s. The slice had no sauce and the cheese and crust were tasteless. The pepperoni was not fresh. Tasted old.. Customer Service was good. Wish I had some better things to say, but my visit today was a an L in the Loss Column for a Slice of Pizza.
