I’ve had mixed experiences here, and I want to share a specific incident for transparency.
This Friday evening I picked up a pizza where the total was $17 and some change. A $20 bill was given for payment. The employee placed the change directly into the tip jar without asking if we wanted to leave a tip. When I went back to ask for the change, I was told it had already been given to the person who picked up the pizza, which was not the case.
Tipping should always be optional and based on customer choice. Taking change without confirming consent is not appropriate, especially for takeout orders.
I hope management addresses this, as it impacts trust and the overall customer experience.

Tried as part of this month’s RI Food Fight and boy are we happy we did!! Service was super slow. The gentleman taking the order was clearly new. He did not even know where the napkins were. I get it. Everyone has to be new at some point. I do think though that there should’ve been someone with him though because the ordering process was painful. The pizza then took 35 min to come out. Note there were only two other tables occupied so it wasn’t that they were super busy (although I did see 2/3 people stop by for pick ups also). However, once we tried it I have to say we loved it! If you prefer your pizza on the saucy side this is not the place for you. I prefer it on the light side with sauce so it was perfect for me. The crust was just perfect. Crispy yet doughy inside. We tried the pepperoni, meatball and breaded chicken. That last one was my favorite! I reheated some of the chicken slices the next day in a microwave at work, which as you probably know isn’t always a good option with pizza and it was still delicious!!! Will definitely be ordering for pick up in the future, to avoid the long wait.

I love this restaurant. The spinach pies are outstanding. The dough is incredible – light with a nice crunch to the crust. the food is always very fresh – salads, vegetables, meats. Everything I’ve had here is absolutely delish. Owner is very hands-on. Staff are responsive. Highly recommend.

Ordered in the app before 5:30 PM. Got confirmation that my order would be ready by 6:15 PM. At 6:07 PM I entered and asked for my order. They couldn’t find it. Finally did and it hadn’t even been put in the oven yet. Never ever again!

My family and I have been ordering from this restaurant for over 20 years. My dad was actually friends with the original owners. So it breaks my heart to have to put this review here but it’s necessary considering the way that my food arrived tonight and the health and safety Issue that goes along with it. Pizza arrived via a delivery courier, who advised me that they did not have part of my order so instead put two cookies that were in their original plastic wrappers on top of my pizza inside the box making contact with the pizza I would have eaten. Hundreds of people could’ve handled those two wrapped cookies prior to me receiving them on top of my pizza inside the box making contact directly with the pizza that I would’ve eaten. This is a major food safety and health issue and I am going to report this to the health inspector for Rhode Island that this is how this restaurant is sending out there food orders to customers. This is absolutely unacceptable especially since we just came through a pandemic to actually think that this is OK to send to a customer. My family and I are completely disgusted with the service tonight from this restaurant and we will never be ordering from them again and we highly recommend the restaurant take more care and effort and how they prepare the food that they’re sending out to customers for deliveries. Also, if they do not have an item, they should be reaching out to the customer to let them know they don’t have that item rather than just substituting it for something else and putting a note saying sorry. If I could have given zero stars I would. I wouldn’t feed my animals this food in the manner it arrived. You could get people very sick putting food together in this manner. Just disgusted.

Trying something new in the Smithfield area. We got the mad Greek pizza. Wasn’t sure about the Genoa salami but definitely made for a delicious pizza. Im all about a crispy pizza and they did an outstanding job. We also got a large pepperoni and onion. Can’t wait to try some of the other menu options.

I’ve ordered pick up from here on the app slice and the prices are decent but the service is terrible. They never have the food done. I don’t mean 5 or 10 min late im talking 30-35 min late. That’s unacceptable. They say on the app it’s done and it’s not. This is how you lose customers. It’s a shame because like I said the food is decent for the price. It’s just not worth it to wait I’d rather they just give me a realistic pick up time.

I am a door, Dasher the food always smells good and is done quickly. My only concern is the employees if I arrive and say who my order is for they check the pizza oven regardless if it’s a pizza or not, and tell me that it’s going to be away this time specifically, I looked over and saw that my customer’s french fries had already been finished and we’re sitting in a bag under a heating lamp as a Dasher here we aren’t allowed to pick up the bags until it’s been given to us so I had to wait and try and get the employees attention twice and twice I was told it’ll be up soon just to wait. Finally someone looked at me as if I had been forgotten and told me that the food was ready. These kinds of things affect Dashers bottom lines, but they probably wouldn’t understand since they don’t need to recycle out their tables very quickly or have any ability to do so.
