Great New York style pizza. More importantly, for some of us, great gluten free NY-style pizza. This is the place. I’ve been to other Tony’s, and this location is consistently excellent. Every time. This trip, after many months away, a GF pie. 10 out of 10.

Went to grab a late night snack/dinner. This is the one spot our family always go to. It is near the house and it could be a quick stop. Service was great, once you order, you get a number and the pizza will be brought to the table if you dine in. Besides pizza, they also have other things on the menu but we come here for pizza. We get the supreme pizza and margherita pizza. Food comes out fairly quick and everything tasted so good, crust is not too thick and it is crispy. It id not too big so usually 2 slices would be ideal for a normal meal. They are most likely will be busy on the weekends and at night time so come accordingly. They have tables and booths.

The pizza was so good! The kids loved the pasta. The wings were a little too cooked so the actual chicken inside was minimal and there was a lot of crunchy stuff. Food was overall wonderful, the service was fast and friendly!

I have been going to Tony’s for years. They have always had top tier NY style pizza. After all this time, they are still making the best legit NY pizza anywhere in northern VA. The cheese pie here is perfect. The subs are excellent too.

Their New York style cheese is great but when we asked for a half and half pizza, half cheese and half pepperoni and sausage, some of the pepperoni and sausage ended up on the cheese side. As someone who doesn’t eat any pork, this is irritating. I should have ordered a totally separate cheese pizza but we only wanted one and that’s how it turned out. Otherwise, this place is great. I visited Tony’s NY Pizza expecting a genuine New York, style slice experience. As someone from New Jersey who frequently ventures into New York to study the craft of great pizza, I hold that standard high.
Unfortunately my experience fell short. I asked for olives and mushrooms added to already-baked slices, and what I got was a half-cooked attempt: the mushrooms and olives were simply placed raw on top, without proper re-baking or finishing. It felt like I was eating a taco; a slice should be cooked after toppings go on so the mushrooms soften, the cheese melts properly, and the crust maintains heat and texture.
The claim of “NY Pizza” sets a specific expectation for crust structure, oven method, topping application, and finish. This visit did not deliver that standard. I left feeling let down, and frankly offended, because I believe in supporting pizzerias that respect the craft.
I hope Tony’s takes this feedback as an opportunity to level up: ensure toppings are applied properly, slices are re-ovened when requested, and the “NY style” label means something meaningful. Until then, I can’t recommend the place for someone chasing the authentic New York slice experience.

The restaurant seems pretty clean and was quiet when I stopped in this afternoon. I was greeted right away and the staff were very friendly and polite although the service for my to go order was a bit slow, about 6-7 minutes between ordering and getting my food. There was also a price discrepancy between the menu price posted online and what it is in store, which is why I initially decided to write a review so that can be updated. The fries were hot and crispy and the pizza was good also. Overall would stop in again, especially as the weather gets cold for a quick bite.

I was outside of my D.C. area and tried their New York style pizza. This was extremely good, well sauced, and plenty of cheese. They also know how to follow cooking instructions, unlike the locations in DC, which was nice. I only wish they were in DC.

The food here is so good, i have been coming here for years and they have so many options. The food is very consistent and quick, it’s a nice casual place for cheap. I always get the sausage or the mushroom and all options are very good. The service is great and the employees are very nice.

Love the pizza at Tony’s. We love the option to buy our own slice of pizza without having to commit to a whole pizza. We have tried other things on the menu and those are great too but we always come back to the good ole pizza slice.
